Haley covered her face with her palms, like a little girl maybe she was hoping this way she could escape her death, the bullet flew and her heart skipped a beat.

She slowly moved her hands from her face, taking in her surroundings, she was no longer in the hold of the man, She turned around, breathing heavily as she stood over his lifeless body, a hole in the side of his neck, his eyes were open, staring into abyss, surrounded by a growing pool of blood, she held a hand to her mouth, as the tears flew down her cheeks, she felt sick she felt as if her heart wanted to jump out from inside of her, a police officer came running to her, asking if she could tell him her name, the faint noise of sirens and Nathan running towards her, calling her name made her head spin and her stomach kick, so she threw up away from the officer on the side, she coughed wiping her mouth with her sleeve, still she felt sick. Nathan came towards her and shook her from the arms, suddenly the world snapped back in focus, he hugged her tightly,

"Oh thank God you're safe."

"Ma'am can you tell me your name?" The officer asked,

"My .. my friend he's in there, please help him he was shot. He's not okay." Two police officers busted the door down as Haley walked closer to the officer, stumbling on the road.

"Okay ma'am, help is on it's way, what is your friend's name?" The door flew open as they busted it down.

Haley breathed heavily, she wanted to throw up more, her head spun even more, her body was tired she wanted to give up, "His name's .. his name." Haley tried talking between long breaths, until she fell face front and her world went black.

The light was painful as it hit her eyes, she struggled to keep them open, the ceiling looked like a tile floor, so either she had woken up in another dimension where they had floors for ceilings or she was in a hospital, a different dimension would be better than this headache, Freddie held her hand tightly, his hair was all messed, his cheek was resting on her arm, his face shot up as she shifted a little, bloodshot eyes, his expression lightened, a rush of relief took him over,

"You're awake!" He jumped and hugged her, Haley smiled weakly and put her arm around him, only now noticing the drip that was on her left hand. "They said you would be awake hours ago I was so worried, I'm gonna call Nate he's freaked out." He said, as if he just got a sudden rush of energy, Haley gripped his hand, with all her power,

"Harry?" She asked, almost whispering.

Freddie's body relaxed on the chair, that was stuck next to her bed, "He's okay. They told him to go home, Nikki took him home, speaking of which I have to call her as well. Sam keeps making rounds checking on us and you."

"Oh okay." She said, staring at the door now, deep in thought. Freddie started to walk away, he stopped as his fingers touched the door handle, he turned around and looked at her, before saying,

"He didn't want to leave. He wanted to stay with you, but they told him rest and took him home." Freddie smiled a little, "You know I was wrong about him, but that doesn't mean I like him. He's .. tolerable." Haley laughed at that, wishing she could say something in return to that but once again she didn't know where she and Harry stood.

"How long was I out?" She said, getting up groggily.

"Uh two days? I guess. That was some serious concussion. Good thing you didn't pass out quickly doc said that would've been a problem then." Freddie said, turning around as the door opened after a soft knock, Kat, carrying flowers entered and Zach followed behind. Kat had tears in her eyes as she hugged Haley,
