Back to Lisa's POV (and it will remain this way for most of the book)

"Where the bleep is he?" I mumbled as the others shrugged.

It had been about half an hour since Ash's left the royal's wing and I started to get a little worried.

"Look, Ash and Jack haven't talked to each other in years so surely they'll need quite a while to get used to each other," Maxine explained, causing me to calm down a tiny bit.

Maxine knew the most about Ash therefore I immediately trusted her judgement.

Although I don't know how long those two knew each other for, I was almost 100% certain that they shared a special connection.

At some point in the middle of my thought process, Ash suddenly teleported into the room with two guys beside him.

"Welcome back, soldier!" I patted Ash's back lightly as he smiled tiredly.

According to Ash, teleporting between worlds exhausted you _ especially when you had to teleport multiple people with you.

That is why Maxine darted into Ash's arms for a quick, three-second embrace before forcing him to sit down on a chair.

"Where are we?" One of the guys asked. He looked only slightly older than us and was clearly very confused.

"Are we in the royal's wing?" The other guy asked, with a look of shock on his face.

Judging by his knowledge of Magus Academy, I immediately assumed that he was Jack _ Ash's older brother.

However, that just begs the question _ who the bleep is that other guy?

"Yes you are," Jamie said, in an intimidating voice, causing me to roll my eyes at his attempt to be scary.

It took a couple of seconds for Jack to realize who he was standing in front of before he bowed respectfully, "Your majesty."

"Majesties," Sophie corrected, smirking slightly at his look of shock.

His eyes then flickered to me, Maxine and then Charles in confusion before turning back to Sophie and Jamie once more.

"With all due respect, what are the other commoners doing in your presence?" Jack asked, causing my blood to boil slightly.

Although I knew there was no way of telling that I was a royal, he could've at least asked me, Maxine and Charles, who we were before jumping to conclusions.

"Excuse me?" I demanded, threateningly taking a step closer to Jack.

"It's true, though," Jack shrugged, "You're just a normal Celestian so why do you deserve to be here?"

Glaring at Jack, I summoned enough magical energy to cause my eyes to shine a bright sliver, showing him exactly who I was.

"YOU'RE-" Jack's eyes widened as he yelled.

"This world's future queen _ that's right," I replied, smirking at the little bleeper as his face paled.

All of a sudden, Ash burst out laughing, causing Jamie to chortle loudly, being followed by me once I repressed my magic.

Although I felt really bad for Jack, it was still hilarious seeing his calm and confident gaze turn to one of pure shock.

"Anyway, the question that we all wanna ask right now: who are you?" Maxine asked the guy who teleported into the room with both Jack and Ash.

"My name's Grayson and... well you see I'm...." he trailed off looking at Jack, who smiled encouragingly, before turning back to us, "a demon."

Within seconds, Sophie shifted into some weird bearlike creature and pinned Grayson down, emitting a low growl.

I noticed how Grayson forced his eyes shut, taking deep shaky breaths, probably trying to refrain from losing control.

"Sophie, get off him," I ordered, causing Sophie to mutter something under her breath before shifting back into a human and walking away from Grayson.

"Is he a threat?" Jamie whispered into my ear, causing me to jump.

"How am I supposed to know? And back up a bit! Bleeping hell _ it's like you don't even know what personal space means!" I bit back, shoving Jamie further away from me.

"I think we should trust him though," I then said quietly, "The way he didn't fight Sophie should be evidence enough that he means no harm."

Jamie nodded before turning back to Jack and Grayson, "Welcome to Celestiam."

*play epic music while the camera pans over Magus Academy*

"That's good and all but what is Celestiam? And who the hell are you people?" Grayson demanded with a look of confusion on his face.

*music cuts off*

Well, bleep.

I guess we'll have a lot of explaining to do.

(A cool time skip because why the bleep not?)

After spending about an hour trying to explain what Celestiam is to Grayson and what our situation was to Jack, we finally got onto the actual planning.

"So, how far can you teleport us?" I finally asked before taking a huge gulp of air _ that's why talking too much is dangerous!

"Well, I haven't been here in a while but I can probably get us up to the border of Oceania," Jack said, pointing at the kingdom on the map.

I smiled triumphantly: it was only a kingdom away from Tempus and Arthur's newly acquired territory.

"That means we'd spend a couple of days making our way to Arthur," Jamie mumbled quietly as I nodded.

"What are we gonna do once we get to their territory?" Sophie asked, "I mean, Tempus is still pretty far away from Arthur's actual palace _ we need to find a way to get us in there without being detected."

We stayed there silently for a while before Charles finally spoke up, "I know some people who live in Arthur's kingdom _ they're good people. I'm sure if I find some way of contacting them, they'd help us out."

Almost instantly, I raised my brows sceptically _ that was way too convenient to be true.

"Details," I demanded, glaring at Charles _ probably intimidating him a little too much seen as he was slightly white.

"You know, just because someone is living in a kingdom doesn't mean that they agree with their leader's values," Charles said after composing himself.

I couldn't help but smirk slightly _ I was scary, guys! I'm so proud of myself.

"I guess but how exactly are we supposed to contact them?" Sophie asked.

For a second, we all remained silent, thinking about any possible solutions.

Suddenly, Maxine snapped her fingers, causing a lot of us to jump, before saying, "We'll use Sophie."

As soon as Maxine said that, Sophie glared at her best friend however, before she could go on a rant about how she was not an object to be used, I hurriedly stepped in.

"What Maxine means is that we can have you shift into an animal and send a message that way," I explained, causing Sophie to finally calm down.

"Oh," Sophie mumbled before shrugging, "Ok, I'll do that."

All of a sudden, we heard a loud snore. I couldn't help but smirk at who it was; Ash was leaning back in his chair with his head drooping back, his arms hanging limply by his sides.

If I didn't know better, I'd say that Ash was dead.

"Well, I guess we should probably go to bed now. Jack and Grayson can share a room with Jamie seen as it's too risky to have you two out in the open where Ash's room is," I suggested, ignoring Jamie's protests.

"Goodnight!" I called out, "And can someone get Ash to his room _ I don't wanna find a snoring bleeper when I wake up."
