Chapter 35

Lucy P.O.V.

"Good morning Luce," Natsu said and hugged me from behind. I smiled and snuggled against him. "Morning Natsu." I answered. We both enjoyed from this moment and snuggled against each other in bed. "What time is it?" I asked after a while. Natsu looked beside him and answered: "Almost nine." I shot up and looked at him. "Nine already? We will be late Natsu, come on." I said and wanted to step out of bed. But before I could move, Natsu grabbed me by my waist and pulled me back in bed. "Relax Lucy, we got time." He yawned. "Time?" I asked. "Natsu, in one hour we have important visitors." I argued. He chuckled. "Come on Luce, a few more minutes. They can wait." I sighed. "Seriously Natsu." He whined. "Come on Luce, five more minutes. I promise." He begged. I gave up and let Natsu pull me back against his chest.

Two days past when Erza found her mate. Crime Sorcière is now part of Fairy Tail. Yesterday, we celebrated our new warriors in our family. I was so glad for Erza that she finally found her mate. She really deserved it. Also Levy found her mate, her mate was Gajeel Redfox. Natsu told me yesterday that we have important guests today. I am so nervous when they arrive.

"Don't be nervous Luce," he whispered suddenly. I looked confused at him. "How did you know I was nervous?" He chuckled. "I'm your mate Luce." I rolled my eyes. "Come on my lazy mate," I said and got out of bed. I heard Natsu sigh, but he followed my lead.

I took a quick shower, while he went down to make some breakfast. When I was ready, I changed and went to the kitchen. "Good Morning Lucy," said Wendy when she saw me. She sat already at the table and was eating a toast. I smiled and replied a good morning back. "Where is Natsu?" I asked. Wendy took a bite and pointed her finger above. "Taking a shower and changing." She said. I nodded and saw a plate filled with some eggs and a toast. "Natsu made that for you," explained Wendy. I smiled. He is such a sweetheart.

"Not too nervous Lucy," Wendy teased. She knew how nervous I am. I stuck out my tong. "Such a child," I heard Natsu say behind me. I giggled. He gave me a kiss on my head and grabbed a plate He sat beside me and started to eat. "Thanks for the breakfast," I said and gave a kiss on his cheek. He grinned. "Everything for my beautiful mate."

After breakfast, we decided to take a quick walk through the pack. We walked outside and went to the training grounds. I saw Erza, teaching a few young wolves how to fight. She saw us and smiled. I smiled back, after that she continued training. Jellal was a bit further looking at Erza. Loke was training with some warriors, also Jellal older pack members were training. Laxus was helping Loke, Natsu and me agreed that Laxus could help Loke with the trainings. "Alpha," said a voice. We both looked back and saw Gildarts. "Morning Gildarts," I said. Gildarts smiled and bowed. "Morning Luna, Alpha." He answered. Natsu rolled his eyes, I just smiled. "What is it Gildarts?" Asked Natsu. "Warriors found this morning couple of trails around the borders." He explained. "Where?" Asked Natsu. Gildarts pointed behind him. "They were found in the east, we found it really strange why they are different trails around our borders. Natsu nodded. "I got maybe an idea why," I said. Both men looked at me. I looked at Natsu and said: "Let's go to that place, I need to be sure of something." He nodded. Natsu looked back at Gildarts and said: "We will keep you updated Gildarts, good work you can go." Gildarts bowed and went back to his office.

"Let's go," said Natsu. I nodded and followed him. We both shifted outside and ran into the forest. "Finally, stretching my legs." I heard Celeste say. I chuckled. After bit running we arrived at the place. We saw a few warriors still investigating the area. "Alpha, Luna," said a warrior when he saw us and bowed. The other warriors followed his lead. Natsu gave a sign. "And, found something?" He asked. The warrior shook his head. "Sadly no, the only lead we know is they went back over the border." He explained and showed us the trail. I looked closely and saw indeed some trails, but something wasn't right. Natsu was talking with the warrior, so I walked back and saw some other prints. But these prints were faded and went the other way. I followed them, looking close. After bit walking, I saw a new fresh trail. But these trail led back to the pack. "Weird, looks like it's someone from this pack." I talked to myself. "Luce?" Asked Natsu suddenly through the link. "Yeah?" I answered. "Where are you?" He asked. "I found something new, just follow my scent." I answered. After few seconds, Natsu appeared beside me. We are still both in wolf form. "Look at this." Natsu followed the trail and frowned. "Is this fresh?" I nodded. "Yes, and worst of all is they go back to the back. So I think it's someone from our pack." I explained. Natsu frowned. Natsu smelled the fresh trail. "You recognized it?" I asked. He shook his head. "No, this smell is mixed with something else. But I will recognize it when I smell it."
