Chapter 28

Lucy P.O.V.

I saw how everyone looked surprised at me, especially Erza. I almost laughed, but held back. I saw in the corner of my eyes Natsu, on his face was a huge grin. Erza still looked at me with open mouth. This time I giggled. "Cat catch your tongue?" I teased. This time she closed her mouth. "Are you're wounds healed enough?" She asked. I nodded. She still didn't reply. "Come on Erza, I also can use some exercise. And it's while ago we trained together." She sighed, but then she grinned. "Bring it on then."

We walked to the training fields and got ready for our mock fight. Erza walked to the other side of the field. Natsu grabbed me by my wrist and whispered: "Please don't overdo it. Your wounds are healed, but you can always make them open again." I smiled. "I will be careful Natsu, I promise." I said and give him a quick kiss.

I walked to the other side of the field. Other warriors around the training grounds formed a circle around the training ground, ready to watch our mock fight. "Looks like we got some spectators." Said Erza through the link. I smiled. "Well, then we should give them a good show." This time I heard Erza laugh. "Just human, or wolf form?" She asked. I thought for a second and answered: "First round human, second round wolf." Erza took her fight stand, while I took mine.

Gildarts walked forwards and spoke loud: "This is a mock fight between Lucy Heartfilia and Erza Scarlet. The fight is over if one of them is no longer able to fight or is knocked out or surrender. I will be the judge of this mock fight. Are you guys ready?" He asked. I nodded. Erza did the same. "Good, let the fight begin!"

I ran forwards, Erza followed my lead. She tried to punch me, but I blocked her attack and spin around to the right side to give a kick. She reacted fast and dodged my kick. But I followed quick and jumped at her and gave her a punch. She was too late to dodge my attack and was hit in her face. She backed away and wiped her face with the back of her hand. She saw some blood on her hand. "Your punches are stronger." She said. I grinned, and said teasing: "I hope I didn't scare you." She laughed. "In your dreams," she laughed back and ran back at me. But, this time was quicker. I was too late when she slammed into me and tackled me to the ground. She pinned me down and tried to hit me, but I threw my leg over her and used it to kick her off me.

I stood quick up and tried to kick her, but she rolled away and grabbed my feet. She made me lose my balance. She sat on me and punched me, but I blocked all her attacks. ""You need to try harder than that Erza." I said with a smirk. She grinned back. She wanted to hit me again, but it was a fake punch. Suddenly, I felt a punch hit my face on the other side. I felt blood in my mouth. She wanted to hit me again, but I grabbed her shoulders and used my legs to kick her off me. She flew back and stood back up. I did the same and wiped the blood away.

Warriors were screaming and cheering around the field. I saw Natsu and he was smiling. "Use the technique I taught you yesterday." I heard him say. "I will," I answered back and looked back at Erza. I got ready and said: "Time to finish this." Erza smiled. "Try it Lucy," she replied and stood in defense position. I ran with full speed at her. She spread her legs a bit for more balance and held her fists up. I smirked and slide down. I slide over the ground, between her legs. Erza just watched at me. Before she could turn around, I gave a kick in the beg of her knee. She felt down on her knees, meanwhile I grabbed one of her arms and held it in a tight grip behind her back. I used my full weight and pushed her on the ground. Erza tried to stand up, but she only had one hand, while I held her other on her back.

After a few tries she gave up and said: "You win Lucy." I smirked. Gildarts heard Erza her words and spoke loud: "That's it, the winner of this mock battle is Lucy Heartfilia!" Warriors cheered loud. I looked around and saw Loke, he was back with the other trainees and smiled at me. I smiled back. I released Erza and helped her standing up. "Not bad, but where did you learn that move?" She asked curious. Before I could answer, I felt an arm around my waist. "From who do you think she learnt that?" Said Natsu beside me with a huge grin on his face. I giggled, while Erza laughed.

"That was an amazing battle," Loke said. "Thanks Loke," we both answered. Gildarts and Mira joined as well on the training fields, while the other warriors left to their jobs. "Well, well, that was certainty interesting." Said suddenly a voice. We all turned around and I saw five persons. I heard Natsu growl beside me. He grabbed my hand and gave it a squeeze. "Well, well," answered Natsu back in the same mocking way. "Looks who finally showed up." Natsu said with narrowed eyes. Also Loke and Erza were looking with narrowed eyes at the five persons. Natsu stepped forwards and took me with him. "Erza step forwards please," said Natsu. Erza looked a bit confused, but did as told. "Good," said Natsu and looked back at the group.

"As I told you, these are Erza Scarlet and Lucy Heartfilia. A new warrior and your Luna, now show them a proper welcome." He ordered in his Alpha voice.
