Chapter 49

Sting P.O.V.

After Lucy left with her group everyone looked at me. "You all know the plan, be ready." I spoke loud. "Yes Gamma," they all answered. Orga stood beside me, together with Yukino, Rogue and Rufus.

I smiled. This was my team, we all grew up together. "Back to the old times," Orga said with a grin. Also the rest smiled or grinned. I smiled. "Just like old times."

Suddenly we heard a lot of howls outside. "Time to go." We waited a minute, than I decided to take action. "Let's go everyone!" I shouted. We all shifted into our wolf and ran to the pack. I howled and gave the sign. A few of my loyal warriors who were at the pack will know what to do.

When we arrived they were already fighting the last Grimoire Heart warriors and the corrupted warriors. We attacked them and took over our pack. Citizens came outside and thanked us. They were happy we finally fought back.

I jumped on a few crates. "Listen up everyone!" Everyone was quiet. "As you saw most of Grimoire Heart warriors and our corrupted Alpha with his warriors left the pack. This is mostly thanks to a friend of us, Luna Lucy Heartfilia. She is from the pack Fairy Tail." I heard some whispers. Most people knew the Heartfilia family.

"She and me decided to join forces and take back our pack. We will shown them what we were before our corrupted Alpha took over this pack. We will shown the whole country what we are made off, how we fight, how we hunt, how we defend our borders, ... We will show them who Sabertooth really is, who is with me?!" I asked loud.

The whole pack shook when everyone agreed with me. I smiled. "Ten men stay here, the rest with me. Time to defeat this Grimoire Heart once and for all!" I said and jumped from the crates.

I started to run to forest, followed by the rest of the pack. After few minutes running we heard battle cries. When we arrived we saw wolves fought against each other. I recognized Lucy immediately with her golden fur. She was fighting Kain and Zancrow. Erza was beside her. Further I saw some Zodiac fighting beside Lamia Scale warriors.

I howled loud and jumped on a Grimoire Heart warrior. "Let's get them." I shouted. Warriors joined me and took down some surprised enemy warriors. "Right on time Sting," I heard Lucy say through a link. I laughed. "Yeah, took a bit longer but we are here now." I answered.

"Yukino, stay close." I said. "Of course Sting," she answered. We both fought a way through the battlefield. Rufus, Rogue and Orga were close with us. Suddenly I saw the person I was looking for.

"Alpha Jiemma," I said.

The large Alpha looked at me. He was a large grey-white wolf. He had some scars here and there, also blood was on his fur. "Gamma Eucliffe," he growled. "How dare you go against me, betrayer!" He growled angry. Yukino was beside me and growled.

"He isn't a betrayer, there is only one here and that's you Alpha Jiemma." She hissed. Jiemma looked this time with clenched teeth at Yukino. "You murdered our previous Alpha and changed this pack. You were cruel against everyone who was against you, people ran away from our pack, you even made a pact with Grimoire Heart. So how you dare call Sting a betrayer while you betrayed our pack!" She growled loud.

Everyone was quiet, warriors around us heard Yukino her words and stopped fighting. Before anyone can speak I walked forwards and said: "Alpha Jiemma. I, Sting Eucliffe, Gamma of the pack Sabertooth challenge you for the Alpha title to the death." Wolves gasped around us, even Yukino looked at me. "Sting," she whispered.

But before she could response, Jiemma spoke. "I, Jiemma Orlando, Alpha of the pack Sabertooth accepts your challenge. Come and die betrayer." He growled and howled. Sting growled back and howled too.

Everyone made a big circle around the two wolves to look at their fight. In the background, they still heard fights between Grimoire Heart and Lamia Scale, with Fairy Tail. But their main focus was on the fight. The fight that will decide who will be the next Alpha.

"Prepare to die Sting!" Jiemma said and attacked Sting. Sting reacted fast and dodged the attack. Sting hit Jiemma hard in his flank, but Jiemma just chuckled. "Is that all you got?" He smirked and hit Sting hard against his head. Sting yelped and backed away. "Afraid now? Now come on, where was that big mouth of yours about defeating me?" Mocked Jiemma and attacked Sting again. But Sting decided to play safe and dodged his attacks.

Warriors supported Sting, while the corrupted supported their Alpha. "Stop dodging coward, fight!" Jiemma growled and ran again at Sting. But Sting keep dodging his attacks. Yukino was confused why Sting just dodged his attacks, but after a while she understood why. She smiled. Orga, who stood beside Yukino knew from the beginning what Sting his plan was and smirked. Rogue and Rufus just smiled when they saw the plan was working.

Jiemma his attacks became slower, his breath was faster and he was getting tired. "Getting tired already?" Asked Sting with a smirk. Jiemma growled and tried to bite Sting, but this time Sting was getting ready to attack Jiemma. He dodged his bite, but was fast enough to bite him in his neck. He jumped on Jiemma and dug his claws in the back of Jiemma. Jiemma tried to fight Sting off him, but he was too exhausted.

"Time to end this Jiemma," Sting said and looked right into his eyes. And for the first time Jiemma was scared. Sting bit his neck hard. Jiemma howled from the pain. Blood drip out of his wound and his eyes closed slowly. Sting wanted to end it, but heard a faint whisper. "Please, I forfeit. Just don't kill me." It was Jiemma, he was begging for his life. Sting growled, not sure if he wants to show mercy.

"Don't kill him Sting," said suddenly a voice. Sting recognized it was Lucy. "What, but why not?" He asked. "He did terrible things, I know Sting. But don't become what he was. Don't be a monster like him, you are better than him."

Sting understood what Lucy meant and let go of Jiemma before he passed out. "You lost this fight Jiemma, do you accept this?" He asked Jiemma who was lifeless on the ground, but still breathing. Jiemma looked with weak eyes at Sting, but nodded. "You win," he said with a lot of effort.

Warriors cheered loud for Sting when they heard Jiemma his words. They all ignored Jiemma and surrounded Sting, their new Alpha. "Our new Alpha, Alpha Sting Eucliffe! Alpha of Sabertooth!" Shouted Orga loud so everyone heard his words.

Yukino smiled brightly shifted back. She hugged Sting and brought him in a kiss. "I am so proud of you Sting." She said. He smiled. "Thank you Yukino."

"What do you want to do with him Alpha?" Rufus spoke while he looked at Jiemma. Sting thought for a second. "Just keep him apart for a second, make sure he doesn't escape. After this battle, I will decide what to do with him." Rufus bowed and took Jiemma with two other warriors him away. "The rest of you let's drive away this Grimoire Heart once and for all."

They all cheered loud and followed their new Alpha.
