Chapter 27

Erza P.O.V.

"When you are small, speed is an important skill in battle. Bigger opponents are maybe stronger, but they are a little bit slower if you train hard enough. I want everyone follow the parkour in the woods that we set up. Just follow the flags, Gamma Loke will run with you. First time run in human form, the second time in wolf form. Any questions?" I asked. The whole group, young warriors didn't respond. I smiled. "Good, move out!" The group scrambled together and ran out into the forest. I heard Loke chuckle beside me. "You are doing an amazing job Erza," he said. "Thanks Loke, I'm just glad I can help to train these young warriors." I replied. He nodded and shifted in his wolf form. I frowned. "You are going with them in your wolf form?" I asked. He grinned. "I'm a bit lazy Erza, so yeah." This time I laughed. "Well, good luck. See you after the run." I said winking. He nodded and ran off.

I watched Loke ran off and sighed. I looked around and saw other warriors train. The older warriors were trained under Gildarts. Natsu asked me to train the younger warriors and I gladly accepted the job. After the ceremony, I started to train with the younger warriors. It was a bit awkward in the beginning, but after a few minutes training they already accepted me. Natsu made sure I had a room in the village. Well room, it was more a apartment. I had everything there, a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and even a spare room for my armor and weapons. My apartment was located in the village, between the citizens. I loved it here. My neighbors saw me when I moved in and they were so kind. I also made a tour around the village together with Loke, Gray and Juvia. It was a bit weird walking together with Gray after all what happened. But he was very funny and I liked him. We talked a lot and eat together in a small tavern. On our way, we saw Lucy and Natsu. They waved to us and continued their tour. Lucy was smiling when I saw her. I was glad she was finally free.

"Hey Erza," I heard someone say. I looked behind me and saw Lucy. "Hey Lucy," I smiled and hugged her. "How is training?" She asked after we pulled back. "Everything is going as well. Loke is running together with the younger ones so yeah." She chuckled. "Erza, is it not your task to run along with the trainees?" She asked with her hands on her waist. I scratched my head and laughed. "Normally yes, but Loke was faster and asked me to run with them." I explained. I saw Lucy frown. "I swear Lucy," I tried. She still looked at me with a frown. I became nervous. "How the hell can I prove it?" I asked myself. But this time she laughed. I crossed my arms and asked:" Why are you laughing?" She looked at me and answered: "Looks like my frown still has effect on you." She giggled. I sighed defeated.

We heard footsteps and looked beside us. Natsu, Mira and Gildarts were walking to us. "Hey girls," said Mira with a smile. "Hey Mira," we both answered. "Hey Erza," said Natsu. I bowed my head a little bit and said: "Alpha Dragneel." I heard him sigh. "Come on Erza, how many times do I need to tell you to call me Natsu." Lucy giggled beside me. "Come on Natsu," she said this time. "You know Erza is just showing her respect to you." He scratched his head. Lucy walked to Natsu and he grabbed her hand. "Hey beautiful," he said to Lucy and pecked her lips. Lucy smiled and blushed a bit. Mira and I giggled, while Gildarts smirked. "So, how is training?" Asked Natsu at me. "Well they learn fast." I answered. He nodded: "Good."

I stretched my arms. "You okay Erza?" Lucy asked. I grinned. "Yes, I'm just out of shape. I see how a smirk appeared on Lucy her face. She looked at Natsu and I knew they were using their link. Then both of them grinned. Everyone looked confused at the couple.

Lucy stepped forwards and asked: "Want to fight me?"
