Chapter 38

Mira P.O.V.

"Everyone ready?" I asked. All the guys nodded. "Good, stay in touch with each other. This is our change to grab this spy."

After my words, we all went our own way. "Mira," said Laxus and grabbed my wrist. I looked back. "I know you can do this, but be careful." He said. I smiled and pecked his lips. "I will," I promised. He smiled.

I went South and stationed myself. I had a great view who can pass by, but I was hidden for them. "Everyone in position?" I asked through the link. "Yes," said Gildarts first. "Me too," replied Loke. "Same here," answered Laxus. "Good, keep you eyes and ears open. Warn each other if you found something suspicious." I ordered. I heard Loke chuckle. "Really Mira, it's still surprising Natsu didn't chose you to become Gamma." He said. Gildarts chuckled. "True," he agreed with Loke. I rolled my eyes, but smiled. "You know why guys, I am maybe good in giving orders. But helping leading a whole pack is too much for me."

After an hour, I heard two howling's in the darkness. "That's Natsu and Lucy," said Loke. I smiled. "I'm so glad for those two, they both found each other." I said. All the guys agreed.

Another hour passed by. "I don't think our spy will be here tonight," said Gildarts. I sighed, knowing Gildarts could be right. I was going to say something, but heard a crack. My senses focused on the noise. Footsteps. I looked around and saw a person walking. The person looked around, but after that he walked further to the borders. "Guys," I spoke and followed the person as quiet as I could be. "I think I found our spy. It's too dark to see who it is, but he is going to the borders." I informed the guys. "Just follow him, we are on our way. Loke, Laxus, station yourself so he can't escape when he decided to run." Ordered Gildarts. "Yes Beta," they both answered. "Just stay in touch with us Mira."

I followed the person and saw him at the borders. He looked one more time behind his back. I was hidden in the bushes. I tried to focus on the person his face, but it's just too dark. The person turned around and crossed the border. "Guys, be fast the person just crossed the border." I said and went after him. "On our way, just follow him." Spoke Loke.

I followed the person for five minutes. "Mira, you still close to the spy?" Asked Loke. "Yes, but he just stopped. I think he is waiting for someone." I said and saw the person just standing and waiting. "We are close by, be careful Mira," said Laxus this time. "I will."

I hide myself behind some rocks and looked at the person. He stood in a opening and the moonlight helped me to get a better look at the person. I froze when I recognized the person.

But before I could do something, two new persons arrived. I focused my attention to the two new persons, and for the second time I froze. The two persons were Kain and Melody, two members of the Purgatory.

"So, what this so important news?" Asked Melody. Kain just stood next to Melody, looking around. "I can't do this anymore." Melody raised a brow, while Kain laughed. "What do you mean?" She asked. "I just can't do this anymore, the spying." She growled and took a step closer. "And may I know why? Because if I remember good, it was you who came to us." She said. "This can't be," I said in the link without thinking. "Mira? What is it?" Laxus asked. I was brought back from my thoughts.

"Guys, come as quick as possible. Melody and Kain are here." I explained. "Wait you mean the Purgatory?" Asked Laxus. "Yes, come quick. I think our spy needs our help." I said when I saw Melody her angry face. "We are almost there, be careful Mira." Said Gildarts. "I will."

Third P.O.V.

"Shame you do this, but that means we have to get rid of you." Grinned Melody. Kain smirked and shifted into his wolf form. Not a second later he attacked the spy. But before he could reach him, Mira tackled him to the ground. She was in her wolf form and growled at Kain. "You two get the hell away from my sister!" She growled.

Melody cursed and looked at Lissana, who was stunned when she saw Mira. "You bitch, you set this up isn't it?" Mira growled this time at Melody. "Shut up! Don't talk to her like that. Melody shifted in her wolf and attacked Mira, Kain joined her. Mira looked at Lissana and yelled: "Run Lissana, now!" After that she stopped Melody her attack and pushed her down. Kain tried to hit Mira, but Mira was faster and dodged his attack. But Melody recovered fast and bit in Mira her paw. Mira yelped and growled loud. "No Mira," said Lissana and shifted in her wolf form.

She pushed Melody to the ground and stood beside Mira. The two white wolfs growled at the two Purgatory members. "You will die here tonight you traitor!" Hissed Melody at Lissana. "I don't think so," spoke a new voice. Beside Mira appeared Laxus in his wolf form. Loke and Gildarts, also in wolf form stood beside Lissana. All five wolfs were ready to attack the two Purgatory members. Melody growled and looked at Kain. "Let's go Kain, we can't win this tonight." Kain nodded, both wolfs walked back. Melody looked one more time back at the five Fairy Tail members.

"Be warned Fairy Tail, Grimoire Heart will strike soon!" She growled. After that she ran after Kain, into the woods.

The five Fairy Tail wolves relaxed their body. Mira looked beside her with narrowed eyes. "You got some explaining to do Lissana!" She growled. Lissana lied down on the ground, ears flat against her back. She whimpered and answered: "I know Mira, and I'm so sorry. I..." But she was interrupted by Mira. "Save it, you can explain it to our Alpha and Luna when they return." She said strict and walked back to the pack. Lissana looked down at the ground. She was filled with guilt and knew how wrong she was. "I go after her," said Laxus and ran after Mira.

Lissana looked up and saw Loke and Gildarts. Both wolves looked disappointed at Lissana. Gildarts nodded his head. "Come on, let's go back." He ordered. Lissana obeyed and followed Gildarts. Loke walked after Lissana, making sure she won't run away.

After a bit walking, they arrived back at the pack. "Loke," spoke Gildarts. Loke looked up. "Can you bring Lissana downstairs, just got an urgent message." Loke nodded and answered: "Of course Beta." Gildarts nodded and walked away. "Shift," ordered Loke. Lissana did what Loke said and shifted back to her human form. Loke followed and grabbed Lissana by her arm. "Let's go." Lissana didn't protest, she knew how wrong she was. And now, she will pay the price for it. Loke brought her to the dungeons and locked her up in one off the cellars.

"I really hope you got a good explanation Lissana." Said Loke before he left the dungeons.
