Chapter 43

Third P.O.V.

Erza ran straight forward to Melody and pushed her aside. She didn't expected Erza her attack and fell on the ground. Robert and Jellal worked together and attacked Jiemma and Zancrow. Gajeel pushed the rest of the warriors aside.

"Now!" Erza yelled. Levy and her parents ran through the crowd into the forest. "Don't let them escape!" Barked Melody. Kain was the first who transformed, but Gajeel was faster and pushed him back on the ground. Warriors shifted into their wolf form and started to attack us. Three warriors decided to chase Levy. "Gajeel!" Erza yelled. Gajeel looked up. "Go after them, we will held them up here." Erza said and attacked Kain who tried to stop Gajeel. Gajeel nodded and chased the three warriors.

"Minerva, after him now!" Jiemma ordered. Minerva, in her wolf form nodded and followed Gajeel with two warriors. "Just give up," said Jiemma. "You will never win this.

Robert growled and attacked Jiemma. Erza and Jellal supported Robert by attacking warriors around him. Most warriors who attacked the Fairy Tail wolves were Grimoire Heart. Sabertooth warriors didn't move and just watch.

Jiemma saw this and barked. "What the hell are you doing!? Get them!" He ordered using his Alpha voice. Warriors feared by their Alpha shifted and attacked the Fairy Tail wolves.

"Jellal behind you," Erza said. But it was too late. Three wolves took down Jellal and pinned him down. I wanted to help him, but there were too many warriors. Jiemma took down Robert with the help of two other warriors.

Erza was the last one standing. Sting stood before her. Other warriors surrounded her. "Give up Scarlet," He said. Erza just growled. Sting, in his wolf form ran forward. Erza who was too exhausted took Sting his blow and fell down on the ground.

But she knew she had to buy time for the rest, so she stood back up. Her flank was bleeding hard. "Erza, stay down!" Jellal yelled, still struggling to get up. Erza ignored Jellal and smirked. "Is that the best you can?" She mocked. Sting growled. But before he could do anything, Zancrow ran forward and jumped on Erza. His claws dug into her body. Erza whimpered from the pain, but didn't want to show Zancrow.

"Such a stubborn wolf, just give up Scarlet. Spare yourself some extra pain, because I will give it too you gladly." He smirked. Erza narrowed her eyes and tried to get up. But with Zancrow on her, the pain and exhaustion she failed. "Erza," said Robert concerned.

Erza tried to fight back, but her body energy level was so low. Her vision started to fade, dark spots appeared on her view. She felt how her body shifted back to her human form, after that she lost her conscious.

Gajeel P.O.V.

I saw the two warriors chasing Levy and her parents. "Don't let them get our mate," my wolf spoke. "Don't worry Metallica, I will get them." I said.

I ran faster and took a small shortcut. I jumped right before the two warriors and smirked. The two warriors growled and attacked me, but I was faster and took the first wolf down. I dodged the other wolf his attack and finished him off quickly.

"Gajeel, are you okay?" Levy asked through the link. "Yes, I got them. Go run, we need to warn Lucy and Natsu." I said. "Where is Erza?" She asked. I looked back and saw no one. I sighed and answered: "She, Jellal and her father stay behind to give us time. That's the reason we need to move as fast as we can to escape them and get help."

Suddenly I heard a crack behind me and saw three wolfs. Two wolfs were warriors, but the third wolf was Minerva. Her black wolf was larger than the two other wolfs. Before they could act, I ran forward and took down one wolf.

The two other wolfs reacted fast and attacked me. Minerva tried to hit me, but I dodged her attack. But she was faster than I thought and attacked again. She hit me against my flank, but I could balance myself. Unfortunately, the other warrior jumped on me and tried to snap my neck. I could avoid his attack, but was pinned on the ground.

Minerva came closer and I saw her gaze. She was ready to kill me. Suddenly, the weight disappeared above me and I stood up. The warrior was in fight with another wolf. I looked up and saw Levy in her wolf form. "Levy? What are you doing here?" I asked surprised, but now concerned because she is in a fight.

"I couldn't let them fight you alone Gajeel." She said and attacked the warrior again. I wanted to help, but Minerva attacked me again. I growled loud and frustrated because I wanted to help my mate. "Give me control, we need to help our mate." Metallica said. I agreed and let him took over my body.

Metallica ran at full speed at Minerva and tackled her to the ground. He didn't gave her a chance to react and bit into her neck. She howled from the pain. She tried to get up, but Metallica hit her so hard she lost conscious. "And stay down," he growled. I grinned. "Let's help our mate." Metallica said and gave me back the control.

I ran back and saw the warrior standing over Levy. She was limping. My anger rose and I pushed the warrior aside. I stood before Levy and growled loud. "Back off!" I said with so much anger in me. The warrior was a bit intimidated by me, but than attacked me. I blocked his attack and bit his neck. He yanked, but I finished him off by snapping his neck.

I looked back at Levy. I licked her forehead. "You okay?" I asked concerned. She smiled. "Yes, it's only my paw." She answered. I lay down and said: "Shift back, than jump on my back." She nodded and shifted back to her human form. She couldn't use her arm, so I helped her a bit to get on my back.

"Where are your parents?" I asked. But before I could answer, we heard some voices? "Levy? Gajeel?" We both looked beside us and saw three other wolves. "Mom, dad," Levy said.

"God thank you are okay," her mom said. "Gajeel," I heard someone say my name. I looked further and saw the third wolf. I recognized the wolf. "Jet?" I asked. He nodded. "What are you doing here?" Levy and her parents also looked at Jet. "Alpha and Luna asked me to follow you. They didn't trust Jiemma, so they told me keep an eye out.

"Where is the rest?" He asked. I looked down. "I think they are captured. They made sure we had enough time to escape so we could call help." I explained. He nodded.

"Let's go back, we need to warn our Alpha and Luna." Jet said. We all nodded and travelled back to Fairy Tail.
