Chapter 54

Erza P.O.V.

I ran with Sting at the front. Jellal was just behind me with my father, Orga and Yukino. "Erza, where is Lucy?" Asked Jellal through the link. "She had her own business." I answered. "What do you mean?" He asked confused.

I sighed. "Lucy has her own plans to take down Grimoire Heart." I answered with a crack in my voice. Jellal heard my voice and looked at Sting. "Sting you know the way to Fairy Tail right?" I asked. He looked bit surprised but nodded. "Can you guys go on without us? We need to check something quickly." He said and looked at me.

"Sure no problem, we will see you there." He answered. I looked at my father. "We come in a sec behind you guys. We just need a little talk." I explained to him. He nodded and ran with the rest of Sabertooth to Fairy Tail. Jellal and me slowed down our speed and emerged from the group. When everyone was gone, Jellal shifted back to his human for. I followed him.

I crossed my arms and looked at the ground. He grabbed with one hand my hands, while his other hand was under my chin. He lifted up my chin so I looked at him. "Talk to me Erza," he said almost begging. "I'm just scared, but also angry." I began.

Jellal didn't say anything and just grabbed both my hands. "I know Lucy, she will do everything to make sure we are all safe. I just have a bad feeling about it." I said. Jellal looked at me and wiped a tear away. I didn't even realize I was crying.

"I'm just scared to lose her Jellal. She suffered a lot and I don't want her to experience that again." I cried. Jellal just hugged me. "Do you want to go back and check on her?" He asked. I nodded, I wanted to make sure Lucy was okay.

We both hugged a bit longer. Jellal smiled at me and gave a peck on my lips. I deepened the kiss. He didn't stop me and kissed me back. He put his forehead on mine. "Let's go," he said. I nodded and shifted in my wolf. Jellal joined me and we ran back to Sabertooth.

We arrived quickly, but saw a few warriors running around in panic. I had a bad feeling about this. Jellal stopped one of the warriors. "What's going on?" He asked. The warrior recognized us. "Bad news, the Purgatory member and our ex Alpha and Beta escaped prison. Apparently there was still one corrupted warrior free and helped them escape." He explained.

As soon he said those words, my body stiffed. I didn't hear anything anymore. "Do you know where they went?" Jellal asked the warrior. I didn't wait for the answer and ran straight to the forest. "Erza wait!" Called Jellal and chased me. I ran to the hill were Lucy was. "Lucy please, be okay." I begged. I arrived quickly and picked up her scent.

The scent went to the forest. I followed her trail. "Lucy!" I called. "Lucy where are you?" I called out. "Erza," I hear Jellal say. I stopped when I arrived at an open spot. "This is really fresh Erza," said Titania my wolf. I looked around and saw some traces of a fight. "No, no, no," I said. I sniffed the air better and picked up two other scents. Grimoire Heart and Sabertooth smell. "No, Lucy!" I howled loud.

I tried to pick up a new trail to follow them, but I couldn't. I don't know how, but I didn't pick up anything. "No, no, no, no, no, ..." I whispered. "Lucy!" I howled and fell on the ground. I howled and cried because I lost her again. I knew she was taken again, back to that hell place. Back to that monster.

I felt Jellal behind me. He was in human form and put a hand on my back. I shifted back. I sat on the ground, crying. Jellal hugged me from behind. "They got her," I whispered. "We will get her back Erza, I promise." He said and rubbed my back.

"I remember Lucy her words, the way she talked. She knew this will happen, she planned this. She wanted to be taken. But why will she do that?" I asked confused, mixed with sadness and anger. "I don't know Erza," he whispered. "But I know she is very smart and has a very good reason to do this. We need to act quick now and inform Fairy Tail so we can rescue her." He said.
