Chapter 53

Lucy P.O.V.

I was sitting on a hill that had a view over Sabertooth. Everyone is getting ready to depart. I saw Sting getting his warriors ready. A few will stay behind, but most will go to Fairy Tail with us.

"Lucy?" I looked back and saw Erza. I smiled. "Hey Erza," I greeted her. She smiled back and sat beside me. "What are you doing here?" She asked. I sighed a bit. "Just bit nervous and concerned." She took me in a hug. "Are you concerned about Natsu?" I asked. I nodded. "I am yes, I know he can handle it. But if something will happen, he will lose control. And that's the part I am concerned for." I explained. Erza nodded, but looked than bit confused. "Why you think something bad will happen?" She asked.

I smiled a bit sadly. "Just have that feeling. I hope it will not happen." I said honestly. She didn't answered but nodded. "Promise me one thing Erza." I said. She looked at me this time. "Promise me you keep an eye out on Natsu and make sure he won't make wrong decisions." She knew something was up, but didn't asked. "I promise Lucy, just please whatever your plan is make sure you're okay." I smiled. I knew Erza will know I had something up my sleeve.

"Go down there, I already linked Sting and said to follow you. I have to do something first." Erza sighed but agreed. "Just be careful Lucy, promise me that." She said with a serious face. I smiled but promised to be careful.

She stayed for a few minutes longer. After that she went down and I saw her getting ready with Sabertooth. They all shifted and ran outside the pack. Erza looked one more time behind her to me. I nodded. She nodded back and left Sabertooth.

I sighed and went into the forest. "Are you sure about this Lucy?" Celeste asked. "You know this is our only way to destroy Grimoire Heart from the inside." I explained. She sighed but knew I was right. "I just hope Natsu and Etherious will be okay when they hear the news." She said concerned. "Same, we will just see hopefully things will be ok." I heard some sounds behind me. I heard them a long time ago, but ignored them.

This time I turned back. "Who is there?" I asked. Three wolves emerged from the bushes. "You really think you can escape us?" The three wolves were no one other than Zancrow, Jiemma and Minerva. I froze. "How did you guys escape?" I said with a growl. "You think all your men are that loyal, think again." Snarled Jiemma and was ready to attack me. "This is your chance to get your mistakes right Jiemma. Take her back to Grimoire Heart and Hades will maybe forgive you." Said Zancrow.

I didn't had a chance to move or Jiemma ran at me and tried to hit me. I missed his attack by a hair. But I forgot about Minerva and she tackled me to the ground. "Your power may be great, but this time you will not." She smirked. Jiemma helped her to pin me down. I tried to shift but Minerva was faster and took out two syringes and injected me. Wolfsbane filled my body and because it were two syringes, I felt the effect already. My limbs were getting weaker, also my vision started to blur.

My struggles were getting weaker. "Looks like it's already working." Spoke Jiemma and let me go. "Chain her up Minerva." He ordered. Minerva did what he said and cuffed my wrist with silver cuffs. It burned, but because of the wolfsbane I felt almost nothing.

I tried to stay conscious, but I was getting weaker and weaker. I looked at the trio and saw Jiemma and Zancrow talking, while Minerva was bit down. She was think but I had no idea what was playing in her head.

"Natsu," I whispered before I lost my conscious.

Natsu P.O.V.

The battle was hard. They were just too many enemy warriors. I was in fight with Rustyrose and took him down finally. I looked around and tried to find Hades, but somehow he disappeared.

"Alpha, we can't keep this up. Said one of the warriors. I growled and howled loud. Suddenly, out of the forest emerged Gildarts with Blue Pegasus and Mermaid Heal. They attacked the first enemies and made sure they lost a lot their warriors. "Right on time Gildarts." I said though the link. He just smirked and took down two wolves.

I jumped at a rock and tried to find Hades. "Where is this coward of an Alpha?" I growled. I heard footsteps behind me and saw Azuma, the Gamma of Grimoire Heart. "You really think you guys can win from us? We are stronger and with more warriors than all your packs together." He said. I grinned. You think because you got more warriors you are stronger?" I scoffed. "We got something you guys will never understand." I snarled this time and attacked him. He jumped away and counterattacked. But I blocked his attack and headbutted him. "We are a family. We support each other, help each other and are loyal. And together we stay strong, stronger than all your warriors." I growled. He growled too and tried to push me down, but I made sure he couldn't.

I tackled him and pushed my weight on him. He struggled to get up but failed. Suddenly we heard another howl. He smirked and said: "This time your family will be wiped out once and forever." I looked up and saw new enemy warriors standing on the plains. They attacked and pushed us back to the forest. "Where are they all coming from?" I asked myself. Azuma took advantage of the distraction and pushed me off him and bit in my paw. I yelped, but hit him hard in his flank with my claw. A whole bloody scar was now on his flank.

He hissed from the pain. Before I could reach him, two warriors attacked me. I just growled out of frustration and anger. I defeated these two quickly but saw that Azuma ran away. "Cowards." I growled.

I looked back and saw some warriors fighting. Gildarts took down three warriors at the same time. Cana was with him and defeated another enemy. But further was Elfman fighting together with Evergreen. They had each back so that was no problem. Laxus was together with Mira and Freed. Mira and Laxus took down the enemy, meanwhile Freed made sure their backs were covered.

"Alpha," said suddenly a warrior. "What is it?" I asked through the link. A group of enemy warriors are inside the pack. "What?" I growled surprised. "No worries Alpha, the enemy had reached the Alpha house. But Gamma Loke was just back in time and took down the rest of the enemy with Gajeel." He explained.

"Loke is back already?" I asked myself. "Thank god, is everyone okay there?" I asked curious hoping no one was killed. "Everyone is safe, except the mate from Gajeel. She made sure the enemy didn't find the hidden passage, but was very beaten up when we arrived. Gajeel just made sure they were all dead." I sighed in relief. I don't know Levy that well. I only know she is Lucy best friend and the mate from Gajeel. But for the rest didn't spoke that much with her.

But she is still family from this pack. So I'm glad she is okay and taken care off. "Wait, who is taking care of her? Because Wendy is here." I asked curious. "Apparently Lissana saved Levy from the enemy and is now taking care of her wounds. Our warriors are keeping an eye out for her." I smiled. "Good, make sure everyone stays safe there. This battle her is still going on." I ordered. "Yes Alpha." He replied and broke the connection.

"Loke," I said linking him. "Natsu," he replied. "How is everyone? Did it went well in Sabertooth? How is Lucy?" I asked question after question. "Easy Natsu, everyone is okay. Sabertooth is saved from Grimoire Heart and is now on their way. So wait a bit longer, but backup is coming." He explained. "Will do, how is Lucy?" I asked concerned. "She is okay for now, only bit tired but for the rest okay."

"Good, keep me updated if something is up." I said. "Of course Natsu."

"We are almost there buddy, wait a bit longer and we will be reunited again with our mate." I said to my wolf. He smiled. "Finally, let's take out as many warriors we can till they are here." He said. I grinned.

"Let's do this."
