Chapter 41

Jellal P.O.V.

Erza was inside the office of her father. If I remember, his name was Robert. I was a bit nervous, because I was going to meet her dad.

But now, in this situation. I got bigger problems. I was outside the office in the hallway. I heard Erza talking to her father and smiled.

I sat down on the couch and waited. I sighed and closed my eyes.

Many things happened these last years. I still remembered the first time I heard about Lucy and Erza. It was also the moment Levy joined Crime Sorcière.

It was nighttime. I was working on some papers, when suddenly someone entered my tent.

"Alpha." I looked up and saw Cobra. "What is it Cobra?" I asked. "We found a group of Grimoire Heart warriors, and looks like they got a prisoner with them." I was immediately interested. "Only one?" I asked and stood up. Cobra nodded. "That's weird, normally they got a whole group of prisoners." Prisoners were mostly children, who were trained to become Grimoire Heart warriors.

"Where are they?" I asked. "They are camped a bit further on the hills. Angel and Racer are keeping an eye out." Cobra explained. I nodded. "Good, gather everyone. We are going to free that prisoner." Cobra nodded and warned everyone to get ready.

"Angel," I asked through the link. "Yes Alpha," she answered. "How is the situation there?" I asked. "Pretty easy, in total there are eight warriors. Six of them are sleeping, while two are guarding the place." She explained. "What about the prisoner?" I asked. "She is chained against a tree. I think she is wounded, but I'm not sure."

"Good, any more things I need to know?" I asked and walked through the forest, followed by the rest of my pack. "Yes, there is one member of the Purgatory." I stopped into my tracks. "Who?" I asked. "It's Rustyrose." I thought for a second. "Alpha?" Asked Angel.

"We are on our way." I said and disconnected the link.

Five minutes later, we saw Angel and Racer. "Any changes?" I asked. This time Racer answered: "Two guards are still guarding the place, but I think Rustyrose is also awake. He is just in his tent." I nodded. "Good, let me explain the plan. Angel and Racer, you two make sure our prisoner is safe. Angel can you clean her up if she has any wounds?" She nodded. "Good, Midnight and Cobra you two take out those guards who are watching now." Both men nodded. "Wally, Richard, you two are with me. We will come in action if there are any problems." Both brothers nodded. "Good, you all know the plan move out." I ordered

"Yes Alpha." The all said.

Cobra and Midnight sneaked through the bushed to the camp. Each of them went behind a guard and knocked them out. After that, Angel and Racer came into action. They walked to the tree were the prisoner was. "How is the prisoner?" I asked them. "She is breathing, but has a big wound on her flank. She lost her conscious. We got only one problem." Said Angel. "And that is?" I asked. "We need a key for the chains. The chains are made from wolfs bane." Racer answered.

Before I could answer, we heard some noise from one of the tents. One of the warriors left his tent. "Midnight, Cobra, get him quick." I said. Both men ran at the warrior. "What?" He asked, but was knocked out by Cobra.

Unlucky for us, the other warriors heard him and want outside. Also Rustyrose left his tent. "Intruders!" He yelled. I cursed. "Angel, Racer, protect the prisoner! Midnight, Cobra take out those warriors. Richard, Wally help them! I take Rustyrose." I commanded. "Yes Alpha!"

All of them shifted and attacked the warriors. The warriors also shifted and counterattacked. I ran to the middle and shifted into my wolf, Chariot. "Let's get these bastards!" Chariot said. I agreed and ran to Rustyrose. He saw me running and transformed into his wolf. We both clashed against each other. I made a nasty scar against his flank, but he could hit my head. I felt some blood dripping from my wound. Rustyrose was also bleeding, but he wasn't done and attacked again. I avoided his attack and jumped on him and bit into his back. He howled from the pain. He growled and threw me off him. He was bleeding hard, lucky for me he started to lose his balance. I took advantage of the situation and pushed him hard. He fell down from the hill and landed with his head against a big rock. He lost his conscious.

"Well done Chariot," I said. I looked back and saw Richard finishing off the last warrior. Meanwhile Angel found the key and used it to free the prisoner. "Let's go everyone, back to our place." I said.

Everyone nodded and ran back to our place.

Two days passed after that night. We moved our place and were now in the mountains. The prisoner was still sleeping. Her wound was healing pretty good. "Alpha," said Angel though the link. "The girl is awake."

I walked to the infirmary and saw the girl on one of the beds. "Hey, you awake." I said. She looked up smiled. "Yes, how long I was asleep?" She asked. "two days," I answered and took a sit on the other bed. Angel left the tent to get some food. "Do you remember what happened?" I asked. She nodded. "Yes, I was travelling to a pack. But suddenly we were attacked by Rustyrose. He recognized me and chased me. I convinced my parents to run, while I distracted them and ran the other way. But after a while they cornered me. I'm not a good fighter, so they could capture me quick."

I thought for a second. "What do you mean Rustyrose recognized you?" I asked. She looked down. "My pack was original the Celestials, but after the raid we escaped and tried to start over." She explained. "I was friends with the daughter of the Alpha, her name is Lucy. She was captured by the raid. My friend Erza and me stayed in that pack for two years. Erza convinced me to escape that pack and start over somewhere else with my parents and her father. We traveled from pack to pack, hoping someone could help us to save both my friends and the civilians. But no one dared to attack Grimoire Heart. My parents and the father of my friend planned to look for a new pack. I decided to stay rouge. Like I said, I'm not a fighter. But I pick up some important information from Grimoire Heart and take all these data to other packs or warn them. Let's just say, I'm a spy and warn every pack when Grimoire Heart will attack." She explained. I was stunned for a second. I knew about the Celestial pack, the most powerful pack before Grimoire Heart.

"I know both my friends are still alive, I just don't know how to help them. I just abandoned them," She said and started to cry. I brought the girl in a hug and patted her back. "Can I know your name?" I asked. "It's Levy," she sobbed.

"Listen Levy," I stared and looked into her teary eyes. "You didn't abandon your friends Levy. You are still looking for them, you didn't gave up. And what you do now is amazing. Thanks to you many people will survive Grimoire Heart." I said. She smiled a bit, but looked down.

"Join us Levy," I proposed. This time, she looked surprised. "We travel all over the land and help people where we can. We also fight Grimoire Heart, but with your skill and all information we can do this." She was thinking.

"And I promise, I will help you find any information about your friends." This time she looked at me with again tear in her eyes, but she was smiling. "Thank you...." I laughed because she didn't know my name. "Name is Jellal," I said.

She smiled and said: "Thank you Jellal and sure I will join your pack."

My thoughts were interrupted when the door opened. I stood up and saw Erza. She was smiling and walked over to me. "Hey," I said with a smile. "Hey," she smiled back. "How did it go?" I asked. She smiled and looked back. In the doorway stood now a big man. His hair was short and was the same color as Erza her hair. He had green eyes and looked at me with a smile.

"Dad, this is my mate Jellal." Erza began. "Jellal, this is my father Robert." I looked back at the man and said: "Nice meeting you Mr. Scarlet." He smiled and suddenly embraced me in a very tight hug. "Don't be so formal my boy, just call me Robert. And it's nice meeting you too. I'm so happy she found you, she deserves happiness.

Erza blushed and leaned against me. I smiled and answered: "She is indeed wonderful. And I'm so lucky to have her as my mate."

He smiled and wanted to say something. But suddenly we heard a lot of noise outside. I looked outside the window and froze. "Jellal, what is it?" Asked Erza concerned.

"It's Grimoire Heart, they are here."

It's just a small filling up chapter

But I promise next chapter will be filled with some action :)
