Chapter 69

Third P.O.V.

Two months passed.

Natsu was in his room. He just took a shower and was dressing himself. He looked in the mirror and smiled. "Today is the day." He said to himself. He wore a white tuxedo, no bow or tie because he found it a bit annoying.

When he was satisfied, he went to the bathroom and made sure his hair was nice. He heard a knock on the bedroom door. "Yes?" He said loud. Gray came inside. "Oh, hey Gray." Natsu said while he was finishing his hair. "Hey Natsu, you okay?" He asked. Natsu nodded and was ready. He closed the bathroom door and walked back in the bedroom. "I am yes, just a bit nervous." Gray smiled.

"That's normal, you look good." He complimented. Natsu smiled. "Thanks, how is the rest out there?" Natsu asked. "Everything is going as planned, everyone is here already and installed in the church." Gray explained. Natsu nodded. "Good, how is Lucy?" He asked curious. Gray smirked. "I haven't seen her yet, but Juvia told me she is nervous too. But for the rest everything is okay with her." He answered with a smile.

There was another knock on the door. "Yes?" Natsu answered again. The door opened and Grandeeney stood there. "Oh, you look so handsome." She said with a smile when she saw Natsu. "Thanks mom," Natsu answered. "You ready to go?" She asked. I nodded and walked outside with Gray and his mother. There were a lot of people in the pack today. Almost everyone in the kingdom was invited for the wedding. All the big known packs were here, but also little packs and villages.

A lot of people stood outside the church and followed the ceremony on big screens. Natsu entered the church and was met with hundred pair of eyes. Natsu smiled when he recognized everyone. He greeted a few people and walked to the front. The priest was ready and looked at Natsu. "Alpha Dragneel." He said friendly. "Good day priest," Natsu nodded. "How do you feel?" Asked the priest. Natsu smiled and stood next to him. "Overwhelmed, but nervous and happy for this moment." The priest smiled. "I feel honored to marry you too." He said. Natsu smiled back.

Suddenly the music started. Everyone stood up and looked back. Natsu gulped and looked back. His breath was away when he saw his soon to be wife in the doorway. Lucy had a long white wedding dress on. Her hair was together in a bun. At the back of her head, she wore a long white veil. She had her arm linked with Igneel, Natsu's father. Igneel had asked Lucy to give her away because her parents past away. She was happy when Igneel proposed the idea and agreed immediately. Her brown eyes looked at Natsu and she smiled.

Before Lucy walked Wendy and Charle. Wendy wore a pretty small pink dress. She was throwing flower petals on the ground. Charle had a flower collar on and was happily wagging her small tail beside Wendy. Behind Lucy were Erza and Mira who were the bridesmaids.

Igneel gave Lucy a kiss and gave her hand to Natsu. "Take good care of her son." He said to Natsu. Natsu smiled. "I will." Lucy smiled and took Natsu his hand. "You look amazing," Natsu said and gave a kiss on her cheek. Lucy giggled. "Thank you, you look handsome in that suit." She said. Natsu just grinned. Wendy, Erza and Mira stood beside Lucy, while Gray, Loke and Gildarts stood beside my side.

Everyone sat back down and listened to the priest. The couple was both in such joy they didn't really listen to the priest. The time flew by very fast for them. "Now it's time for the vows." Spoke the priest. "Lucy, you can start of you want." Lucy smiled and looked back. Erza gave her the ring. She thanked Erza and looked back at Natsu. "Natsu, my mate, my protector, my demon wolf, my soon to be husband." She started. "Words can't really describe now how I feel. When I was still in captive, I would never had thought I will be standing here right now. Those dark times and thoughts were gone when we first met. From the moment I saw you I forgot all the problems, all the pain, all the drama. You were and still are my light that lit up the darkness inside of me. I also found back my power to fight back. A power to fight for our future, a future were everyone will be happy and living peacefully." She said while a tear was escaping her eye. Natsu smiled and wiped away her tear. "And look were we are now," She chuckled. "I love you so much Natsu and I can't wait to build our future further as my husband." She finished and put the ring on his finger.
