Chapter 10

Lucy P.O.V.

"Twelve wolves are following us," I said. "You got to be kidding me Lucy," Erza sighed. I laughed a bit. "Sorry Erza, but it is so."

Erza ran the whole time. Now we were in the middle of the forest. "We need to get to the border as fast as we can." Said Erza. I nodded and got of her back. She looked at me confused. "What are you doing Lucy?" I smiled at her. "I'm going to run with you."

Erza looked at me surprised. "Lucy, you can't. What will happen if they saw you. They will..." But I interrupted her. "Erza, they already saw me. And you need to spare your energy. This territory is super large and we need to run for a few hours. So, it's best if I use my own strength. We have head start, so I can run for a few hours with you."

She sighed. "Why I am discussing this? You can be so stubborn." She said with a smile. "Says the one who learned it to me," I said back. This time she laughed. I shifted my arms and legs in paws and ran along with Erza.

"Erza, do you know how this pack calls?" Erza was thinking for a second. "I know this is the second largest pack from the kingdom. If I remember, this pack calls Fairy Tail." I stiffed a bit. Erza looked confused at me. "So, it is his pack. This is the place I need to be." I whispered. "Lucy?" Asked Erza concerned. "Are you okay?" I nodded my head and smiled. "Yes Erza, I'm okay. I'm just thinking, that's all." Erza frowned, but didn't ask anything.

After running for hours, we both decided to take a break. "How far are they Lucy?" Asked Erza. I closed my eyes and listened closely. "We have maximum twenty minutes." I answered. She nodded. "Let's take each five minutes pause." She proposed. I nodded and said: "You can take a nap first, I will stay up and guard the environment." She smiled and nodded. "Thanks Lucy."

Not a minute Erza was fast asleep. I smiled a bit. I stood up and explored the environment. A few meters further I saw a small temple. I walked towards the temple. I opened the door and saw a few candles. "What is this place?" I asked myself. I saw a few stone tablets with names on it. "Mavis Vermillion, Yuri Dreyar and Warrod Sequen." I read. "Wait, is this a tomb?"

Before I could search further, I heard something. "Shit," I said and ran back to Erza. "They are faster than I thought. "Erza, we need..." But I stiffed when I arrived at the spot where I left Erza.

Six wolves surrounded Erza, while she fought two wolves. Four wolves stood outside the circle and looked up when I arrived at the scene. "Looks like the other one is finally here." Said a great brown wolf. I recognized the wolf, it was Gildarts. The three other wolves were Laxus, Mira and Cana.

The other wolves around Erza looked at me quickly, but their focus was more by Erza. The four wolves surrounded me so I couldn't escape. "Lucy," said Erza. I looked at Erza and said: "I'm sorry Erza, I didn't know they are that fast." She tackled Gray to the ground and avoided an attack from Juvia. She made quickly eye contact with me and smiled. "It's not your fault Lucy. But I need your help. I am maybe the strongest warrior in Grimoire Heart, but eight wolves are still too much for me." I smirked and answered: "Give me a minute and I will be there to help you." She nodded and dodged an attack from Gajeel.

Gildarts looked at me and asked: "You can use your link?" I growled but answered: "Yes, I can." He looked at the other wolves and I knew he send them a message through the link. I took the opportunity and ran to Gildarts. He prepared himself to block my attack or dodge it. But I duck under him and slide over the ground. Now I was behind him and got back up. I let the four wolfs behind me and ran to the circle.

All the wolves were too focused on Erza, so they didn't notice me. Erza was now fighting with Gajeel. Gray was wounded on his flank, and Juvia was limping. What further laid Evergreen and Elfman. I knew Erza was a very good fighter, but I didn't know she was that good. But Erza had it hard too. She was tired and had a cut on her leg. Her fur was dirty.

I saw how Freed was charging at Erza. I ran as hard as I could and before he could reach Erza, I tackled him and threw him away. He fell against a tree. "Need a paw?" I asked. Erza smiled at me and pushed Gajeel from her. "Always handy," she answered.

I smirked and turned around. Before me stood a little white wolf, it was Lissana. She ran to me and tried to tackle me, but I dodged her attack and hit her on her jaw. She howled from the pain and growled loud. I heard another growl and saw Mira. Her wolf was just like Lissana, white (See picture above). She ran at me, fast. I was too late to dodge her and prepared me for a tackle.

But Erza interfered and took Mira down. "Thanks," I said. Erza nodded while she hold the struggling Mira down. Lissana attacked again, but this time Bickslow was joining her. I ran at the two with full speed and duck under them. Then I kicked the two wolves hard on their stomach. They both winched from the pain. I knocked Bickslow out to give him a kick on his head. Then I grabbed Lissana and threw her against a big rock. I breathed heavy.

I looked back and saw that Erza was fighting with Mira. Laxus and freed were helping her, and they got the upper hand. Erza tried to dodge the attack, but then the other wolf hit her. I wanted to help her, but Gildarts, Cana and Gray stood before me.

"Just give up," said Gildarts. I growled and said: "Then let us go, we just want to cross the borderline and never come back." Gray laughed and answered: "You think that we let murderers like you go?" I looked confused at Gray. "What the hell are you talking about? We didn't kill anyone from your pack." He growled louder. "You bastards from Grimoire Heart killed my brother!" I looked for second at the ground. "Fullbuster, enough!" Said Gildarts.

My eyes widened when I heard his name. I looked at Gray and stiff. "Fullbuster?" I almost whispered. Gray looked at me. "Lyon?" I said very soft. But Gray heard my words and he was furious. He tackled me to the ground. I screamed from the pain. His sharp claws dug in my arms. Blood was dripping out of my wounds.

"What did you say?" he asked deadly.
