W - Two Worlds

Chapter 7

*Jade's Pov*

I clutched her close to me as I made my way to my huge apartment. The apartment I live in was customized for rich and wealthy people like. Every single room in my aprtment is around 5 times bigger than every single other apartment rooms and addtional to that, there are extra rooms as well. I have two bathrooms, one kitchen, four bedrooms, one livingroom, and seven closets. 

I get into the elevator that leads directly into my living room, making sure not to bump Miss Ankist into anything. Her face is so relaxed and calm, the only movement from her is the soft breaths out of her nose. 

As soon as I step into my living room, I'm greeted with my personal nurse and my cook. 

"Sir, is that a girl? " My nurses eyes bulged out, surprise taking over her. 

"Yes, is Doctor Malpin here yet? " I asked. 

"No, we called him. He said he's coming soon. " The cook replied, his eyes still on Miss Ankist. 

I walked through them, trying to get Miss Ankist somewhere with no attention. 

My body guard greeted me on my way along with another man.

The man greeted me with optimism and bowed. "Hello, my name is Detective Park. I have been trying to find that woman. " 

"What woman? " I asked.

"The woman that was with you. I've been trying to search for her for hours. " He pointed to the dark purple rings under his eyes. "I will try my best to find her, no matter the cost. "

"Why would you want to find her? If she's not a suspect of anything bad, then don't search for her. "

"But that woman is so weird. How could she have missed all the surveliance camera and gone out of the mall with one of the best security. And then somehow sneeked back in? " His voice was filled with wonder and curiosity. 

"I will find her. " He said once again. His eyes then glazed on Miss Ankist soundly sleeping in my arms. "Who's that? " He asked. 

I pressed her face against my neck, trying not to let her be seen. My bodyguards eyes filled up in reconition. "Uh, something happened. " Her soft breath pushed against my skin. "I'll be back after I put her away ok? " 

Detective Park raised his eyebrow, his eyes grew so wide they looked like dinner plates. He had a smile on his face. 

"No no. It's ok. You don't have to come out. I don't want to disturb you. Take your time. Be safe. I'll be leaving now. "  

My face grew hot as the meaning of his words drenched onto me.  It's not like that, I thought. 

I carried her into my bedroom and placed her onto the giant bed. I made sure to tuck her in properly and make her extra comfortable. 

My bodyguard ran into my room, he looked over Miss Ankist. 

"Isn't that her? Scarlet Ankist? The one Detective Park was looking for? " He frantically said. 

"Shhh. I know what I'm doing. " I assured him. 

"Wait...you're not getting her to do...that with her are you? " He asked, his voice serious. 

I sighed, letting out my fierce blush and my annoyance with it. "Just because a guy brings a girl to his house does not mean they're havign sex. " I said through gritted teeth. 

"That's true, but if that guy is almost a man and that girl is almost a woman, and the man never brought a girl to his house before, and took the woman to his room...everyone would most likely think they're going to have sex. " He said. 

"But that aside. Why did you bring her to your room? Everyone is trying to find her! Even a detective is after her. " He said, confusion bubbling within him. 

"Like I said, I know what I'm doing. Now shhh. " I told him. 

I stared at her face for a while and then held out my palm to my bodyguard. He stared at it before he slowly brought his hand out and high fived it. 

"I finally caught her. " I tell him. 

"Miss Ankist? "

"Yes. " I pushed her hair out her face. "The key to my life. " 

"Oh. " 

"But..." I stared at her face carefully. "Is she really pretty? " I inspected her face. "Is she what people call pretty? " 

"What? " 

"Is she really a beauty?  " 

"I mean she's pretty. " He replied. 

"She's pretty. " I said to myself. "She's the key to my life. "
