*Scarlet's Pov*

My eyes fluttered open to dazzling, bright stones. My vision was blurry and foggy. I felt a light, fuzzy cloth on me. A blanket. I seemed to be lying down in a soft, cotteny bed. My muscles still felt stiff. I couldn't move them.

Who tucked me into bed?

I looked around, trying to see where I am when a figure caught my eye.

I stared at it for a second, trying to make out what it was. The figure seemed eerily familar.

Jade.

He turned his head to me and caught my eyes staring at him. A soft smile poured onto his lips.

"You're awake? " He stepped closer to me and sat down beside me. I tried to focus as much as I could on my vision.

"How are you feeling? " He asked. He placed his palm on my head, checking my temperature. "Your temperature isn't high. It doesn't seem like you have a fever. Do you feel ok? "

"I'm dizzy. " I slurred out. "I can't move and my vision is blurry. " My mouth felt to heavy to talk with.

"That's probably the drug. " He pursed his lips.

"Drug? " I croaked out. I had no memory of being drugged.

"We found a poisonous drug in your system. It's not the type of drug that makes you feel good. It's the type of drug that allows you to faint so people can kidnap you. " He explained. "Most people slip it into their victim's drinks or food. What was the last thing you remembered drinking or eating? "

I closed my eyes, trying to focus on flashbacking.

The last thing I ate. I didn't eat when I went back to my world. That must have meant that that I ate something when we were in the mall...no. I still didn't eat anything in the mall. The hospital with Jade?

Yes! He have me his cup of water to drink. That was only around a few hours ago for me. That's why I fainted in the middle of my room...and the drug went into effect a few hours later because of all the switiching I did between the two worlds.

But if the cup of water I drank was around two months ago or longer for him. He'll just think it's even stranger if I didn't eat anything for two months.

"The cup of water. " My mouth blurted out. I instantly felt suddenly awake, only to be tired again."I was going to lie and say that it wasn't the cup of water, but for some reason I can't lie. " The words poured out of my mouth without me even trying to.

"So it was an honesty drug...." He muttered. "It's a drug that last for around 7 hours. Whateever question you are asked, you will answer honestly. Unless you have a really, really strong urge not to. " He said.

"Where am I? " I asked.

"My house. Do you happen to know where that is? " He said.

"You live in a Expertise Apartment. On the 33rd floor, the top floor. " I said.

He laughed. "There truly is nothing you don't know. "

"I know everything. " I said.

"What else do you know? " He leaned in curious.

"I know that you're family suddenly died in your old house...so you were so traumatized. That's why you move around apartment to apartment, and you have never really find a place for you. "

"That's really interesting. What else do you know? " His smile was now gone, since I reminded him of his family.

I tried to search for something else that I knew. "There is a gun under this pillow. " I said.

His face went rigid and he glanced the pillow I was on.

"You sleep with it although it is illegal. Because you can't sleep with it if you don't have it. "

His face froze. "How do you know that? " He asked.

"Because I saw. " I said.

"From where? " I can here him getting a little creeped out.

"That scene was the saddest for me. " Saddness poured into me.

"What scene? "

"The one in Bay Block Bridge. I...I started crying with you. I really thought Jade Boltin was going to commit suicide. " My words slurred out, and my eyelids slowly fell, darkness took over me.
