YOONGI POV

"Write whatever amount you want. And NEVER let me see you working here with y/n again."

The words came out before I could stop them. I tightened my grip on y/n's arm pulling her towards me, wanting to hold onto her as hard as I could, to keep her safe from all the world and--especially--other men.

Truthfully, I could tolerate the Kim Taehyung from before but suddenly this new fuckboy had popped up out of nowhere and he....

He was interested in her.

I could see it clearly in those fond eyes following her every move, that rehearsed voice making plans to get my kitty alone and defile her tight, innocent flower....

And, even worse, he dared do it under my watch. He flirted with MY pet right under MY nose, and it took everything in me not to beat the shit out of him.

"I..." the boy was struggling to speak, at lost for words. "I can't...."

"JB, go back to work," y/n mumbled from my side, her arm tensing.

"Y/n, this man is...." he looked between me and her, mouth open. "He's...he isn't your--"

"He's my boss. Just go back, I'll--"

"I thought I made it clear," I cut in, patience evaporating. "I don't want you around here anymore. Take the cheque and leave."

The boy looked at the paper and then back at y/n but before he could do anything, y/n lunged forward, yanking me along in the process. Grabbing the cheque from the tabletop, she crumpled it in her free hand.

"I want to go outside," y/n said, turning to me and glaring defiantly. "Now."

She didn't have to ask twice. I hauled her out the exit and towards my car, opening the door as we reached it.

"Get in," I ordered.

"Not until you let go."

I rolled my eyes. "Goddamnit y/n, just get in before I lose my temper!"

"I asked you to let GO of me first!"

"I'm your boss and your elder and I want you in my car, now."

She responded by forcing my hand off with her other one. Once free, y/n moved away from me, eyes wild. "I don't understand why you're doing this depyonim. What right do you have to make him QUIT?"

My body seared in anger.

"I have my reasons," I said.

"Like WHAT?"

Ugggh, how could I make her understand?

"You're an actress in a music video," I explained, "and soon to be a full time employee. Yet you caval around with a bunch of boys without heeding the consequences."

Her mouth dropped open and I was pleased by the surprise on her face. "I....when did I...?"

"The contract clearly stated you were to keep a clean record until the release," I continued, sensing she had already fallen for my wordd. "That boy is trouble."

Y/n bit her lip. "But....but JB's just someone I know...."

"And I don't like the look in his eyes so I'm telling you to stay away from him."

Y/n opened her mouth to speak but then she just fell silent, confusion and embarrassment shining in her pretty eyes. The sight made me frown with regret~I shouldn't have been so hard on her, she was still so young and naive. Softening my tone, I took a step forward and reached up, taking her chin in my fingers.

"I can perceive other people's characters easily~it's important for my job," I said, trying to sound as gentle as possible. "Just trust me when I say you should stay away from him. I'm sorry I scolded you like that but I was just trying to look out for you."

She blinked up at me but her body didn't push me away. Finally, she nodded. "I don't understand but....please don't fire JB. It's just a job. I'll try keep myself from causing any bad press."

I nodded and said thank you then before helping her back in the car. We talked a bit more about the contract and then drove back to her parents' house and saying goodbye.

But all was not well.

Maybe I could trust y/n, but this JB kid was trouble. Who knew if they went to the same school, shared the same friends? The thought of her meeting him behind my back made me sick. Since she would not date me now, it was only natural that I taught y/n how cruel life could be without me by her side...

And this JB would be my first target.
