You shut your eyes, concentrating on the sound of the fan whirring as Hoseok entered the bedroom in the dead of night. A soft sigh echoed through the room, and then the blankets at the edge of your bed moved.

Hobi...

How had it all gone so terribly wrong?

You had been sure you were ready to give yourself to him, to vanquish all the nightmares of your past and start fresh. Every word, every touch--your whole heart had meant it, until his hand had gone there.

Then, you had panicked.

Hoseok's body slipped underneath the blankets, leaving a two feet space in between you and him. Truthfully, you had been so embarrassed with running out earlier that you hadn't spoken a word since. You had simply showered and then went to the patio only to find it devoid of anything except a note next to your food:

I'm so sorry...
I'll give you some time alone

You weren't sure where he had went but this was the first time you were with him now.

"Oppa?"

Hoseok's breathing halted, and you heard the slight turn of head on pillow.

"Y/n-a?"

Moving to face him, you found his hand under the blankets and gave it a tiny squeeze, wanting him to know you still loved him, that you still craved for his touch.

"Just give me some time, ok?" you murmured, letting your thumb trail across his wrist. "I'll be ok...I promise."

To your surprise, Hoseok chuckled. "I was a bit too wild earlier, wasn't I? But don't think about it. We'll be a PG couple for now. PGEEEEEE~~~~"

You laughed, the tension instantly fading. "Hoseok oppa is the best."

The world shifted and you found yourself suddenly cradled against his chest, his warmth engulfing you.

"So did you really have a crush on me before we were introduced?" Hoseok wondered, pressing his chin against your forehead. "I thought I was the only one."

Thank god it was dark so he couldn't see your blush.

"I saw you in a convenience store first. I thought you were so cool with your leather jacket and fight wounds..." Crinkling your eyes, you buried your face in his chest. "I was so stupid."

Hoseok stroked your hair. "Not at all. I was the stupid one. I was so embarrassed I had a crush on my subordinate's little sister that I went out with other girls to hide it. But everybody knew. They kept teasing me about it."

So that's why he had dated Taeyeon and Gina and Ra-in....

"So when my parents approached you to get me married....?"

Hoseok shook his head. "No. I approached them. I knew you were graduating and realized I had to do something before you went to college. Or else those seniors would catch your eye and I'd lose you forever."

Your stomach flipped at his words. It was so strange to be wanted by someone you also wanted--for the longest time, it had always been pining after Namjoon's affection or living in fear of Yoongi's. But now ...
