"Do you have any plans this afternoon?"

"Um, not that I know of?" Jungkook answered in a questioning tone but nonetheless the older flashed him his boxy grin. "Then can I take you somewhere? I promise we'll get home before dinner comes around."

"I-I don't know." The younger responded, unsure if he should trust a guy that he barely knew.

"Come on! Trust me! I'll keep you safe from any harm!" Taehyung proclaimed, his hand on his chest while the other hovered next to his head. Jungkook didn't have the heart to turn down the boys adorable gesture so all he could do was nod. "Good! Let me go get my ca-"

He stopped mid sentence, realizing something before shaking his head. "A-actually let's just walk there, it's not that far anyways." He took Jungkook's hand in his, which caused the younger's heartbeat to race, before lightly pulling him close behind to head to Taehyung's desired location.

Tae wasn't completely lying when he said the place wasn't far since it only took them 15 minutes but then again they speed walked the whole way there.

"This is my favorite place to get lost in my thoughts." Taehyung looked around at the familiar abandoned park that isn't so familiar to the younger which is one of the reasons why he brought the boy here. "So what do you think?" The older weakly smiled at the boy, hoping for a good response.

The younger slowly stepped forward, hearing the chipped barks, which were once attached to the trees' branches, crunch against the small rocks and pebbles on the dark, brown soil. There weren't a lot of birds living in the trees— at least not as much as there should be judging from the amount of abandoned nests.

The park was secluded, as if it were just for the soul purpose of providing a place for one to relax and forget about the rest of the world.

Taehyung, having been here hundreds of times, walked over to his usual spot under the farthest tree that seemed to look like it has aged the most. He sat down, back against the tree trunk, hips between the old roots, before gesturing for the dark haired boy to sit next to him.

"Sorry if you don't like it." Taehyung frowned because the younger has yet to answer his question. "I go here almost everyday after school and even on the weekends when I need to get away from my house so I just thought it would be nice to share this place with you. But if you wanna leave that's fi-"

"No no! I love it here." The boy smiled with his bunny-like teeth on display for the older. "I just wasn't expecting to come here. Half of me was pleading that you secretly weren't a murderer and that you weren't gonna lead me to the back of an alley." Tae laughed at the other's silly assumption. He sighed, looking up at the sky that was mostly blocked by the leafless branches of the somewhat tall trees.

They sat in the same positions without saying a word, the only noises heard were the light rustling of the few leaves that still had the will to stick to their branches, the small bird chirping from time to time while it picked at the dead barks on the ground, trying to find food, and the passing car engines that they could make out from the fairly far distanced road.

Taehyung kept his gaze locked on the sky with a distraught look which the younger took advantage of to observe the older's features.

The blonde's hair was slightly long at the back while having enough length at the front to where the ends reach just above his eyes. It was a bit wavy, only making the strands look softer even after the clearly bleached hair to get it to this state of dirty blonde. His skin was glowing under the sunset's colors, it's caramelized tone giving off a beautiful result against the light.

His eyes where a mesmerizing dark chocolate until it's hit by the sunlight to where it turns hazel, making the details pop out even more. They were filled with curiosity for the world and friendliness which the boy didn't seem to show often. He seemed trapped in his own thoughts with no one to spill them to and that's probably where the hint of sadness came from.

"Hey, Hyung?" The younger boy suddenly broke the silence, making Taehyung snap his gaze from the pink-hued sky, not used to being called 'hyung' by one of his friends. "What are you thinking about?" He questioned and the older pursed his lips. "Just...things." The bunny boy was persistent to know whatever was bothering his hyung so he kept eye contact until the other finally gave up with a sigh.

"I'm just thinking about my family, school, how much I'd rather be out than stay at my house, and this new friendship we have." Taehyung explained and Jungkook cocked his head to the side. "Why? Do you regret befriending me?"

"No, not at all!" The older chuckled before turning his body to face the younger. "It's just that... if you haven't noticed, I don't have much friends and usually I don't intend on having any more than my two hyungs. So I don't really know what got into me when I defended you in class and basically offered a friendship right after." He scratched the back of his head with an awkward laugh. "I don't even know why I brought you here. I've never brought anyone here unless I have to babysit my baby brother and decide that I don't wanna be stuck in the house."

"Then does that mean I'm special?" The younger beamed with a thumbs up which made Taehyung shake his head with a smile. "I guess that does." He chuckled before looking at his phone's lockscreen.

"Shit, we should get going." Tae said as he stood up, stretching his back along with his arm across his chest. "Come on, kid. Don't wanna be late for dinner." He ruffled the bunny boy's head before helping him up on his feet.

"Thanks, Taehyung." Jungkook said before they continued walking, Taehyung raising eyebrow in confusion. "For what?"

"For being my friend." The younger smiled with a faint blush spreading across his cheeks which only blended with the skies pinkish tint. Tae grinned. "No problem, kid."

And with that, Jungkook's first week went by rather quickly with the help of his three hyungs' presence.
