Monday easily skipped its way into the present and so did the jolly days.

Christmas Eve.

"Jiwoo stop flirting with Jaegeun!" Hoseok scolded his little sister after seeing her kiss the little boy's cheek.

"Geun-ah stop being a player!" Taehyung shook his head at the blushing munchkin and everyone laughed as they watched the two males pull their little siblings apart.

"This always happens when the two kids are together." Jin sighed, rubbing his temple.

Jungkook giggled at the whole scene before him as he sat on the couch in a comfy red turtle neck and a cup of hot chocolate.

His mom managed to clear up the living room from the remaining moving boxes the day before. He helped with putting up the Christmas tree and the rest of the Christmas decorations. To say the least, it was relieving to finally be in good terms with her.

Jimin arrived first with his parents which were good friends with his mom. Next was Taehyung with his brothers and brother's boyfriend. Then Hoseok came with just his little sister. Yoongi hadn't arrived yet but he already informed the gang that his parents were going.

"You must be Yoongi!" He heard his mom squeal from where the front door was and saw the mint haired male wearing a black and red checkered sweater vest on top of a white button up long sleeve. His parents stood behind him, his mom securely holding a dish in her arms while his dad held all the presents for the kids.

"Hi, Ms.Jeon. Nice to meet you." Yoongi greeted with a bow and the adults exchanged greetings not long after.

He walked inside where the rest of the gang were hanging out and caught a glimpse of Jimin who sat next to Hoseok.
Hoseok had his little sister sitting on his lap, swaying side to side in sync with the Christmas music.

She looked over to the mint head and instantly started bouncing from excitement. "Yoonie!"

Her little feet started to scramble towards the boy who had his arms stretched out, ready to scoop her up. She giggled and hugged the male tightly around his neck once she was in his hold. "I miishh you, pwince!"

"I miss you too, Jiwoo." Yoongi chuckled. "I haven't seen you in weeks, princess." He ruffled her long wavy hair, making her scowl while flapping her sweater paws at his hand.

He looked over at Hoseok who smiled but it wasn't one of his eye smiles. He seemed different.

"Hey, Hoseok." The mint haired boy walked over to the redhead who stood up as a greeting. He reached his hand out for a handshake which confused the older from the sudden formality, but nonetheless pulled him into a side hug.

"H-hey, Hyung." Hoseok stuttered out before clearing his throat and sitting back down next to Jimin who waved at Yoongi with a bright smile. Yoongi returned his signature gummy one too.

Jungkook saw the slight falter of the redhead's smile from seeing the interaction but the seeming jealousy wasn't as bad as it used to portray itself.

Jiwoo went ahead and sat on Jimin's lap since she got bored of her older brother's. The boy instinctively cuddled the munchkin against his chest, receiving a content sigh from the little one.
The two oldest of the gang couldn't help but coo at the scene before starting a conversation. Or at least trying to.

Jaegeun managed to escape Taehyung's grip and ran to the kitchen where Jin and Namjoon stood by the counter.
He pulled at the silver haired male's pant leg, who averted his attention, and pointed at the mug of hot chocolate in the older's hands. "Goonie wanf share coco with GeunGeun?"

The little boy cutely twisted his ankle in circles while his hands were tightly clasped together. Battering his eyes in an attempt to use his charm. But before Namjoon could fall in the childishly trap, Jin picked him up and placed him on the counter. "Jaegeun-ah, you've already finished your mug a couple minutes ago.

"B-but Jinnie!"

"No buts, baby. I'll let you have more later." Jin assured him with a kiss on the nose.

The munchkin huffed before jumping off of the counter and proceeding to run back in the living room and tackle Jimin who still had Jiwoo in his arms.

"Ow!" The pink haired male cried from the sudden attack, letting go of the little girl so he wouldn't pull her down on the ground with him. The two kids only giggled and plopped on the couch next to Jungkook, leaving the short male to lay on the floor.
Jimin got up and decided to get revenge in the form of tickles. The munchkins thrashed around to try to get out of the older's trap, apologizing between laughters.

It was a delightful sight to see.

The parents were getting along, including Jin and Namjoon. Yoongi, Jimin, and Hoseok seemed to be having normal conversations while the little kids ran around the room. The Christmas tree surrounded by presents on top of presents and the colorful lights danced across the walls.

Everyone looked happy.

Taehyung sat next to the tree with his red mug in one hand and leaning his body on the other. He looked lost in his thoughts which Jungkook had noticed that he unconsciously did a lot, but sipped on his drink every now and then.

Jungkook decided to join him because no one should be sitting alone at a night like this.

"Taehyungie." The bunny boy called, pulling the boy out of his thoughts as he sat next to the blonde. "What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing really." Taehyung shrugged, still leaning back but looked at the younger with a grin. "Just that my Christmases aren't usually this happy."

"Why so?"

"My parents always make excuses about not being able to go home for the holidays so it's always just me and my three brothers."

"Three? Oh, Namjoon?"

"Yeah. I know him and Jin will end up getting married in the future so I already consider him as a brother. Plus he treats me like I'm his own."

Jungkook hummed as a response to the sweet explanation before continuing. "But what about Hoseok and Yoongi?"

"We never celebrate Christmas together. Yeah, we give each other gifts, but their families usually go on a week long trip. I'm even surprised Hoseok's parents aren't here."

"I was hoping to meet the two people responsible for bringing our sunshine hyung to the world." The raven head pouted before they both laughed.
