Taehyung cursed to himself as he carried Jungkook on his back on the way to his house's front door. He rung the doorbell, impatiently waiting for someone to open it because although Jungkook is cute and small at times, he is not light.

The door opened and the blonde sighed in relief before quickly straightening his posture despite the fact that he was giving the bunny boy a piggyback ride.

"Oh my! Poor boy! Come in, come in! You can settle him on the coach." A woman instantly reacted as she saw Taehyung struggling to carry Jungkook even with the proper posture. The blonde didn't defy the lady, walking in the living room and quickly but carefully laying the younger on the coach, making sure his head safely hit a pillow.

The boy dusted himself off of nonexistent dirt before holding his hand out to the woman who, now that Taehyung actually got the time to observe her, had all the same features as Jungkook. "Hi, I'm Taehyung! You must be Mrs.Jeon!" The lady slightly winched at the mention of her name, causing Tae to press his lips in a tight line but decided not to question it and instead stretched out his hand.

"It's Ms.Jeon actually." She corrected with a sad smile, shaking the boy's hand. "But feel free to call me Minseo!  So what happened to my son? Did something happen to him during the party?"

"No, we decided to leave the party and just hang out at the park until he fell asleep." The boy lied , not wanting to get Jungkook in trouble for drinking. Jungkook's mom released an audible sigh at the mention of her son not causing any trouble as she looked down at him with the same doleful smile.

"Thank you, Taehyung. You're friends with my Jungkook right?" She asked, spreading a blanket on the bunny boy who instantly clutched it in his sleep. Taehyung shyly nodded with a forced smile. "I-I guess."

It stung a little to hear that Jungkook and him are just friends.

"I should go, It's getting late." He awkwardly excused himself, walking out of the door with Jungkook's mom following. "I wouldn't want your parents to worry, sweetie. Feel free to come back any time you want. Be safe!" Tae waved one last goodbye before the front door shut.

He sighed, leaning on his car. Looking up at the dark sky, it seemed so peaceful, only about one star stayed monotonous, separating itself from all its other twinkling relatives. Pressing his lips together, he kept his gaze at that discrete star, still thinking of Jungkook's lips, the soft feeling still lingering on his even with those few seconds of contact.

Taehyung could only hope that this one wouldn't turn out as bad as his last little crush.

Tension.

The only thing that could be felt throughout lunch.

Jimin continued to chatter away like he normally did, trying to break the ice but only Yoongi would respond to him. Hoseok was out of it. His usual beaming personality was nowhere to be found. He seemed so dull and... heartbroken?

Taehyung didn't know what was happening with him nor did he currently have the right mind to ask. His head had been filled with thoughts of the dark haired boy sitting next to him who was enjoying his lunch despite the awkward atmosphere.

Two days had passed since the night of the party which meant it was Monday. The blonde hadn't spoken to Jungkook since Friday. He's been avoiding any conversations with him, trying to convince himself that he didn't like the younger because if he did, then that would be a whole lot of heartbreak.

He didn't pick up the younger in the morning which he usually did but he wasn't ready to face sober Jungkook yet. He felt guilty that he made the boy walk alone though. Really guilty.

Sadly the raven haired boy noticed the uncomfortable aura that Taehyung brought with him.

"Hyung what's wrong? You've been avoiding me since the last time I saw you. Did I do something wrong during the party?" Jungkook suddenly questioned, breaking Tae out of his trance.

"What? No. No. Nothings wrong." The blonde lied, not maintaining eye contact to make it easier to bear the guilt.

"You've clearly been avoiding me. What's on your mind?" The bunny boy remained determined as he further dug his way around the older's lie. When Taehyung didn't answer, he finally sighed in defeat and continued consuming his unappetizing lunch.

There was about ten minutes left of lunch when Hoseok suddenly stood up, clearing his throat. "I-I gotta go use the restroom. I'll see you guys later."

He hurriedly rushed out of the room, grabbing his bag and throwing his disposable tray in the process, with his head hanging low.

"What's wrong with Hoseok-hyung?" Jimin asked while everyone shrugged as a response.

Although no one addressed it, most of them sensed that things were going wrong.
