Taehyung's POV (3rd person)
The whole night was consistent of tossing and turning from the thoughts and questions that Taehyung so badly wanted to release from the day before but he held himself back because he didn't want to scare away the only friend he had that never got weirded out by his strange personality.
Why was I surprise that he's not gay?
Just because you're gay, Taehyung, doesn't mean all your other friends are... regardless even though Yoongi and Hoseok are.
Have I really been flaunting my money to the kid without realizing it? What if he finds out and it'll ruin our friendship.
Why does it bother me so much that he's not gay?
Why does my heart feel like jumping out of my chest whenever I'm near him?
"It's because you like him Taehyung," the boy quietly groaned to himself, softly tugging at his own hair as his room slowly filled with light, the sun rising ever so slowly.
A soft ding bounced off the walls, the boy forgetting that his phone was still connected to his speakers as they continued to play ballad songs.
He reached towards his nightstand and checked who sent him a message, although hoping it was Jungkook. But why in the world would the kid text him at 6 in the morning?

Jin:
Taehyung-ahTae:
What?Jin:
I left early for a business trip but I'll be back by tomorrow. Take care of little Jaegeun while I'm away, would you?Tae:
Why can't you just hire a babysitter or a nanny for once? Not like we don't have the money to do so.Jin:
Kim Taehyung! 😡Jin:
You know I care about our little brother's safety and I'm not comfortable with random strangers looking after him!Tae:
Alright geez 🙄Jin:
Thank you 😊Tae:
I'm gonna go get ready for the day. Go back to snuggling with Namjoon and stop texting me.Jin:
Oh hunny, do you really think that's the only thing that we've been doing since we got on the plane? 😏Tae:
Ew! I didn't need to read that!Tae:
I'm going now and DON'T CAUSE TURBULENCE!"Why can't mom just stay home for once and take care of her own child." The blonde complained, kicking the sheets off of his legs before pushing himself up and off of the comforting bed that he's already longing to lay back on.
He went straight to the bathroom to splash his face with sink water, waking himself even more as he proceeded to brush his teeth.
Today's gonna be so boring.
He went back in the room to grab his phone from the nightstand before heading out in the hallway and passing by multiple doors until he's in front of the one that he needed to be.
Opening the door, the little boy was already up in his crib, bouncing around when he saw Taehyung enter.
"Morning Geun-ah!," Taehyung greeted the boy, lifting him off of his bed by securely gripping underneath his arms. Showering him with kisses, little Jaegeun's giggles filled the sky blue room every time he received one and a wide grin was now plastered on the blonde's face as he ruffled the little one's wavy bed hair that stuck out in random places.
"Taetae!" The 3 year old's wide toothy smile emerged on his small precious face, instantly lighting up Taehyung's mood by a fair amount.
The older hugged the boy against his chest with one arm as he proceeds to walk back to his own room and out on the balcony.
His bedroom's balcony was probably Taehyung's favorite place in his gigantic house.
More like a mansion than a house if he was being honest.
The balcony was kind of an escape from all the wealth that the boy didn't ask for although it isn't as helpful in terms of forgetting as much as that place that he took Jungkook to yesterday.
But it's enough for when he's not able to get out of the house.
The railing that reached up until the boy's abdomen was black painted steel that swirled in a repeated pattern as it's design provided safety, preventing any danger of falling. It separated Taehyung's room from the breathtaking scenery that was his backyard.
The backyard that contained a beautifully sculpted fountain that sat in the middle of a perfectly trimmed hedge maze which was quite the expense to most but barely a dent for the wallet of a big entertainment company's CEO which was luckily but not luckily Taehyung's father.
Tae hated his wealth. Not because he didn't like the items he had but because he didn't like what the items he had caused him. Being rich and a son of a company's CEO can be tough in terms of making friends.
You never know who's fake and who's real.
This is one reason why he didn't want Jungkook to find out about his life. The boy didn't want to find out if Jungkook would use him for money purposes or notice changes in the younger's behavior. He'd rather keep it a secret than letting the boy know because losing the friendship that they currently had was not on his 'to do' list. Regardless even if he wanted to be more than just friends.
"TaeTae?" Jaegeun questioned, placing his soft delicate hand on Taehyung's cheek. "Whaf a-auw you f-finking abouf?" A soft smile played on the older's lips as he listened to his little brother struggle to make out words at his very young age.
"Just a boy I like."
