3rd Person POV

"It's flat."

"Tae- no! Why the hell would the earth be flat?" Jungkook questioned with a scoff.

"Why the hell not?"

"There's been astronaut in space, hyung. They've seen the earth and its a spherical shape." The younger rolled his eyes but Taehyung wouldn't budge. "I won't believe it 'til I see it."

They continued walking to Jungkook's locker until they got there and the boy shoved his things in the small cubicle. Taehyung left to his own locker, leaving the ravenette to himself.

While pulling out his maths textbook, a folded paper slipped out of the locker and onto the floor. Confused and curious, he picked it up, inspecting it in his hand before reading the outside of the note.

Jungkook

It was written neatly yet familiarly.

The pit of his stomach churned from worry.

It was a letter from Hoseok.

Jungkook,

Not sure if you found out yourself or one of the others told you but I'm writing this to let you know that I moved today. I'm probably already on my way to Seoul as you're reading this.
I'm sorry it's so sudden, we didn't get to know each other as much as I hope we would've but things just got in the way.
Thank you for being a great friend to me.
Thank you for sticking with Taehyung and his antics. I've never seen Taehyung as happy as when he's around you. It's almost like you're his breath of fresh air from his problems and issues. Yes, he has problems. All of us do. But if you found out, actually, when you find out, I hope you'll help him get over them. The guy's more fragile than what he puts himself out to be. He needs you more than anyone else.
Well I guess that's it for now. Please don't worry about me. I'll be fine.
This isn't a goodbye, it's a "see you later".

Once Taehyung reached his locker, which was at the very other end of the school from Jungkook's, his phone rang.

"Kook?" The blonde answered in confusion when he saw the caller ID.

"H-hyung."

"What happened? Are you okay?" Taehyung asked in concern, stopping in front of his locker.

"H-hoseok-hyung."

"What about Hoseok?"

The redhead hadn't been attending school ever since the first day back from break. It concerned everyone and for some reason Yoongi would change the topic when they brought him up as if he felt guilty about something.

"Check your locker." The older did as he was told and there he saw a note laying on top of his textbooks.

Taehyung

"I'll call you later, bun." He ended the call and quickly opened the letter, not even bothering to put his phone away first.

Taehyung,

Funny how time passes. You used to be that small brunette freshman when we first became best friends and now you're this tall blonde senior that everyone's scared to talk to in school.
And now, you have Jungkook to talk to. He's a good kid. Don't let him go.
I moved to Seoul today, Taehyung. I've known for a while now but decided to keep it to myself because you all seemed too happy for me to ruin your moods.
Please don't let me ruin it.
Thank you for being my friend throughout high school and helping me with my own issues. I'm sorry for the sudden news but I can't do anything about it now.
Well I hope things work out with you and Jungkook. I'll miss you, Tae.
