"I thought you guys were coming back on Christmas Eve?" Taehyung questioned his older brother and his boyfriend as he casually walked in the house with little Jaegeun in his arms.

"Taehyung-ah, I already said it's because the business trip ended earlier than expected." Namjoon rolled his eyes, earning a shrug from the younger as he plopped his baby brother on the kitchen counter. "By the way, that wasn't nice of you to end the call in the middle of me talking."

"Sorry, Hyung." The blonde apologized before explaining himself. "My friend walked in so I had to end the call."

"It's fine, kid. But you might wanna talk to-" Namjoon pointedly looked at Jin who was making lunch with a scowl on his face.
Taehyung walked behind his older brother and hugged him from behind. "Seokjin-Hyung, I'm sorry."

The blonde never called Jin by his full name unless he knew he did something really wrong to upset him.

"Taehyung please inform me or one of the maids next time you decide to go out late at night." The older scolded, his voice cracking from the verge of tearing up. "Especially after those times."

"I know, Hyung."

"What if you actually went through with it this time and I wasn't here to save you again?!" The male suddenly yelled at his little brother. "They all say third times a charm and in this case I don't want that charm!"

"Seokjin-Hyung, I'm not going to try killing myself again! I promise." Taehyung's heart broke as guilt started to consume him from seeing that Jin was crying because of him.

Three Years Ago

~You're worthless, Taehyung~

~Just kill yourself already~

~All you're good for is money~

~Weirdos like you don't deserve love~

"I know. I know. I know!" Taehyung responded to his thoughts angrily, one hand gripping the side of his head while the other tightened it's hold on the knife.

~All you have to do is push the knife~

~Succeed this time~

~Make the pain stop~

"I-I will." The boy nodded, lining the sharpened blade to his stomach. He took a shaky breath, tears slowly escaping from the corner of his tightly shut eyes.

This was the only solution that he could think of to get away from the bullying, from the people that used him, from the loneliness, and from the heartbreak. No one would care.

"Taehyung!" A very familiar voice called out in a panic and next thing he knew, the knife was swiped out of his hands. He opened his eyes to see Jin's puffy red ones before falling on his knees. The older instantly knelt down to pull his little brother in a hug, letting the boy soak his shirt with tears as he was full on sobbing.

"I-I'm sorry! I'm a disappointment! I'm s-sorry!" Taehyung repeated over and over again, clinging onto the other's shirt. Jin's heart broke from seeing how much worst his little brother has gotten since the last time he tried committing suicide.

"You have nothing to be sorry about. Taehyung you're not a disappointment." Jin assured him while stroking the younger boy's hair in an attempt to calm him down.

But Taehyung never believed those words.

Back To Present Day

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to jump into conclusions." Jin apologized, now hugging the blonde to his chest. "Tell me, have you been going to your therapist appointments?"

Taehyung nodded and the older sighed in relief. "Good, I was just checking."

"Alright. It's the holidays so no crying, babe." Namjoon interrupted, walking over to his beloved boyfriend to wipe his tears away and pulled him into a hug. The older buried his face in the silver haired man's chest, groaning from embarrassment only to cause the other to chuckle.

Taehyung stood there, waiting for the sickeningly cute moment that was displayed in front of him to stop. If he was being honest, he envied his brother's relationship. Even more now that he's fallen for a certain junior that he'll never be able to call his.
He sighed, taking his little brother off of the counter and placing him on his stool to get to eat.

"Hyung, I'll be going out later with a friend." The blonde informed both of his older brothers.

"Hoseok?"

"Uh... no. His name's Jungkook."the boy corrected the tall raven head with a seemingly bored face. Jin gasped with wide eyes and Namjoon smirked at hearing the new information.

"You're hanging out with someone other than Yoongi and Hoseok?!" The oldest freaked out, shaking the blonde by the shoulders. "He's more than a friend, isn't he?!" I want to meet him!"

"Babe, don't scare the kid." Namjoon laughed, pulling Taehyung out of his older brother's grip. The blonde nodded as a thank you before speaking. "His mom actually invited us for dinner on Christmas day. Do you guys wanna go?"

"Of course! Can I bring a dish?" The male beamed while clinging onto Namjoon's side.

"Yeah but please don't bring anything too... rich."

"What do you mean by that?"

"I'm talking about expensive dishes or expensive looking dishes like what you brought to Yoongi's birthday. You brought lobsters and other kinds of extravagant seafoods! That was basically a whole catering!"

"His family enjoyed it." The older shrugged but the blonde shook his head. "Did you even see Yoongi struggling to crack open the king crab legs?"

"No." The male huffed.

"Just please don't do anything like that and don't talk about anything that relates to the company or just money in general. They don't know about it and I'd like to keep it that way."

"Kim Taehyung, are you still hung up with what happened?" The raven haired male asked with concern which Taehyung only looked down in response. "Not everyone will use you for money, baby. Yoongi and Hoseok don't use you so I'm pretty sure there's more people out there like them."

Jin knew he shouldn't have brought the subject up once he saw the younger's expression fall. "Taehyung, I shouldn't have brought it u-"

"I'm not hungry anymore. I'm gonna go get ready." Taehyung mumbled before jogging up the nearest staircase and locking himself in his room.

No one has brought up that certain topic for a very long time now. Everyone around him knew it was a sensitive subject for him. His heart ached every time he even thought about it.

A tear slowly slipped out of the corner of his eyes as flashbacks of those days haunted him.

People used him.

And left him with invisible scars that never seemed to go away.
