Chapter eleven- emotion

David's pov
I woke up and rolled over to see my two favorite people laying next to me. Liza was asleep with mason wrapped in her arms and it was the cutest thing ever. I took a photo of them just because they both looked so cute. I put my arms around the both of them and cuddled them super close to me. "I love you guys" I said to them even though they were asleep. I stayed awake a little longer, mostly scrolling through my phone and playing on the few games I have.
Around half an hour later, mason woke up. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. "Morning little man" I whispered to him kissing his head. "Moma?" He asked. "No, lets let moma sleep" I said picking him up. I walked downstairs and made breakfast, even though I was only in some Calvin kleins and a white shirt and mason was only in a diaper.
I gave him some lucky charms and a banana cut up into smaller pieces. He ate as I just sat with him and talked to him. I would ask him questions and talked to him and he just kind of babbled back to me which was super cute.
After mace had finished his breakfast we went into the sitting room and hung out, watching tv and playing with toys waiting for Liza to wake up.

Lizas pov
I woke up and rolled over in my bed putting my hand over David and mason, except my hand hit the bed and I immediately panic. I bolt up and open my eyes. I start to really get worried before I hear my boys laughing downstairs, I breathe out, finally being able to relax. I got out of bed and jumped onto the cold floor. I put pyjamas on as I had only slept in underwear. I tip toed downstairs hearing my boys laughing and playing. I stood a few steps from the bottom and watched them for a while. David was laying on his back and lifting mason into the air using his arms and feet, making mason laugh so much, after a few goes, mason calms down and lays on David's chest. David lightly kisses his head and cuddled him. "I love you dada" mason says in his cute little accent. "I love you too mace, and I love you're moma, so so much, you are both the loves of my life" he says looking at me and smiling as he says it. "How long did you know I was standing there?"I ask walking over and kissing both their foreheads. "The whole time" he replied. I lay down next to him on the floor and snuggled into him. "I love you too" I replied kissing his cheek. "I love being the fiancé of my best friend" he replied as mason joined our hug. "I love it too, I can't even believe how lucky we are to have each other and have an amazing little boy, and our little baby in the clouds" I said smiling. "We aren't So lucky about that last bit though" he said, pulling me further into his side. "But it brought us closer as a family and we will always remember our baby" I replied. I looked over at David and saw he had tears in his eyes.
"Baby, why are you crying?" I asked sitting up and pulling him to sit up too before engulfing him in a hug. "The whole time I've been helping you to deal with the whole thing and I've never fully dealt with my emotion about it" he said shakily. As strange as it sounds, I love it when he gets emotional and opens up to me. It just shows me the amount of love he really has for me, it also shows me he trusts me so much because he lets me see him in a vulnerable state just like me to him. "Talk to me baby" I said facing him and taking his hand in mine, kissing it. "All this time I've been putting on a brave face and it never really beat me up more than now" he said wiping a few tears from his eyes again. "Baby, you never have to put on a brave face, we can get through things together, be each others rocks" I explained. He nodded and I hugged him tight. "It's all okay, our little baby may not be in our arms, but they are so happy and safe up in the clouds and they know we love them so so much, they know they have the best, strongest, bravest daddy in the world and the most loving, happy brother too" I said. "I don't feel strong and brave" David replied putting his head down. "Hey," I said lifting his chin with my hand "showing emotion makes you the strongest person alive, it's hard to keep emotion in but it's even harder and scarier to let it out and it shows me how much you love and trust me, and it makes me love and trust you ten times more than I already do, and that's a lot" I said pulling him in again. "Liza i love you so much" he said as we pulled apart. "I love you too" I replied wiping the last tears from his face.
"Hey mason come here" I said to my son who was playing with his toys on the sofa, he jumped down and ran to me. "You really have the best dada ever don't you" I said to him. "Yes, dada is my dada forever and ever" he said running to David and hugging him, almost knocking David down and he ran into his arms. I joined into the hug and we just stayed hugging as a family for like five minutes.
This is what I love in life, my two boys and the amazing relationship we have together.

A/n
Cheesy ending omgggggg, I thought it would be kind of fun to switch it up considering it's always David comforting Liza and I thought it was kinda cute (cough ego Emily returns cough)
