Chapter twenty five- hard

Lizas pov
I woke up sick as per usual. I ran to the bathroom and threw up into the toilet. I heard David wake up and sit up. "You okay babe?" He called to me obviously unable to get up to help me. "Yeah" I said groggily between spells of vomiting. "You got it babe" he also called as I was throwing up again. I finally felt a little better so I stood up and brushed my teeth before going back to bed with David. "You good baby?" David asked as he opened his arms up for me. "Yeah" I replied snuggling into him and pulling the blanket over us. Under the blanket he rested his big warm hand on my tiny rounded stomach. I looked into his eyes and smiled. "You're getting a little bump now" David said to me. "I know, it's already getting more real" i said adding my hand to his resting on my stomach. "I'm so excited for us to have another little baby, for mason to be a big brother and to be a little family of four" he said. I nodded and laced my hands into his. "What if it happens again" I said quietly looking down. "What happens again, we have an amazing baby and our life improves even more?" David said trying to show me the positives. I looked down and didn't make eye contact. "Baby I know you're scared and so am I but all the midwives, I'm sure, are going to do everything in their power to help us have a healthy baby and are going to support us. We have each other and all of our families too, I promise this time everything will work out" David explained. "I love you dobrik" I said kissing him. "I love you too koshy, who will at some point become dobrik if we ever finally get married" he said laughing. We snuggled for a while longer before mason started shouting for us.
I got out of bed to get my son still feeling pretty sick. I felt to sick to carry him so we walked back through to David and I placed him on the bed before running to the bathroom again and throwing up anything that was left inside of me. "It's okay baby you got it" David called again trying to be supportive. I was finished throwing up and again went back to bed. I lay down feeling completely drained. One minute I am completely fine and happy and the next minutes I'm throwing up like there's no tomorrow. "I'm so sorry I can't help you babe" David said tucking a strand of my hair behind my ear. "It's okay I know you're in pain too" I said turning to face him. "What on earth are we like" David said laughing. "It would be us two" I added. "We get through it though" David added. "Yeah we do" I replied.
I love days like these. Where we are all just chilling out together as a family. Life is pretty hard on us sometimes but we get through it together.
