Chapter fourty seven- getting ready

David's pov
I woke up and rolled over, hoping to cuddle into Liza but she wasn't there. I immediately was filled with worry so I jumped up and checked the rooms near me. Bathroom? Nope. Masons room? Nope. I went into the baby's nursery which is painted a light pink and has a chair in it and the baby's crib for when she is old enough. I saw liza sitting in the rocking chair, resting her hands on her bump and admiring the room "You okay babe?" I asked standing in the doorway looking at liza "Yeah, couldn't sleep" she replied "soon we will be putting our baby girl to bed in here" I said looking around "I know I'm so excited" she said looking down at her now giant bump. "When I had mace, I didn't even get to be this pregnant because he was early" she said "oh wow, we aren't even fully ready for Isabella yet" I said to her. I watched liza smile as I said the baby's name "I love the way you say her name" she said looking completely in love. I smiled and put my arms round her as she stood up. I just love my girls.

After we had a few more moments of taking in the nursery we went back to our room and began to get ready for today. We both got dressed and I went to wake mason. "Good morning buddy" I said ruffling his curls "wheres momma" Mason asked looking cross at me. "She's in Mommy and daddy's room" I replied to him. "I see her" he said scowling at me "Okay dude come on then" I said trying not to let the fact he hates me today bother me.
As soon as he saw liza, he ran to her and hugged her legs. Liza picked him up, struggling a little as she did considering she is super pregnant. "Mommy" he said into her shoulder "what's wrong baby?" Liza asked cuddling him tighter. "Scary daddy" he said looking at Me scowling "daddy isn't scary, he loves you" liza told him. I felt so sad at the fact mason thinks I'm bad I turned to walk out. "David don't" Liza said getting up and grabbing my hand. "He hates me" I said looking down. "No he doesn't, I bet he's just had a bad dream. I know he loves you" she said "mace why is daddy bad?" I asked him "deam" he said missing the r. "Well that's okay mace, it's not real. Daddy is a superhero really" liza told him "your daddy will always save the day, he's amazing like that"
"Jesus liza you're going to make me cry" I said laughing and pretending to wipe a tear. "I'm just telling mace the truth, I love you, goofball" she said "I love you too baby" I said kissing her. I felt masons arms around my legs I picked him up and hugged him "love you daddy" he said to me "i love you too little man" i said actually tearing up a little this time. "Damn you too are cute" Liza said looking at us full of awe. I opened my arm and she joined out hug.

Lizas pov
We soon ate breakfast and then all got ready for today. As soon as we were all done we got into the car and made our way to target to pick up more things for the baby before she comes. "Okay so what do we need" David asked as we drove "well we need more clothes, some bottles in case breastfeeding doesn't work, a stroller, a baby swing, diapers, I need a nursing pillow, wipes, a car seat and a crib for our room when she's born" I said to him "it's a good job I got sponsored twice this week" he laughed, making me laugh too. "I'm so excited for her, I'm over being pregnant" I said resting my hands on my bump "I like it when you're pregnant, it makes you super sexy" David said "have I just found out your secret turn on?" I laughed "is it really that secret" he said smirking. "Damn who is this and what have you done with my sweet, cute David" I said resting my hand on his face. He laughed and kissing me. "Okay we need to stop kissing and get to target" I said breaking away from him "I like kissing you" he said pouting like a little kid. "I like kissing you too but we have a baby that isn't going to wait for her things" I replied. "True" he replied driving again.
When we got to target, we got a cart and mason sat in the little seat looking the cutest. I took a bunch of pictures of him just because of how cute he looked. He was wearing a black romper and some red converse which showed of loads of his tanned skin. "Babe, how many pictures are you going to take" David asked putting his hand on my lower back and laughing at the fact i was keeping my finger down on the button taking hundreds of pictures of my baby. "Enough to make this moment last forever" I replied. "Fair enough" he said kissing my head "Okay come on we gotta get shopping" he said to me taking my phone out of my hand, taking a picture of himself pulling a goofy face and putting my phone in his back pocket. I raised my eyebrow at him and continued pushing the cart.
After walking down every isle, and being in a hell of a lot of pain, we were finally done shopping for the baby. Meaning, as soon as we have set it all up at home, we are ready for her. Once we got back into the Tesla I breathed out in pain. "Baby are you okay?" David asked me "no, I'm in so much freaking pain" I replied. "Can I do anything to help?" He asked "just drive home" I replied. He immediately started driving and we got home after around fifteen minutes later and I crashed on the couch feeling super tired and worn out. David brought me tea and my favorite throw since he is the best fiancé in the whole world and also put a movie on. I was soon joined by my boys on the couch and we all snuggled up together. "Is me being pregnant still a turn on" I laughed considering I looked a complete mess "you're always a turn on baby" he replied kissing my cheek I laughed at him and cuddled him closer "love you bubba" I said snuggling into him "I love you too baby" he replied.
