Chapter twenty nine- christmas suprises

Lizas pov
I woke up to mason and David shaking me awake. "What?" I replied sleepily. "Don't tell me you have forgotten?" David asked looking at me shocked. I thought for a minute. "Omg it's Christmas!" I said more excited. "Mommy Christmas!" Mason shouted excitedly. "Presents?" Mason asked. "We raised a crazy child" I said as I pulled myself out of bed. "You feeling okay?" David asked putting his hand on my lower back as we began walking down the stairs. "I feel a little sick but I think I'm gonna be fine" I told him. "Also is it okay if I use some of the footage for my vlog because I set the camera up downstairs last night. "Uh yeah should be okay, I'm not wearing anything tight so I think we are good" I explained. "Okay thanks babe" he said kissing my head. We began going down the stairs and David pulled out his camera filming masons reaction. We got to the bottom of the stairs and the 7 foot tall Christmas tree stood with presents mounded underneath it. Masons face lit up and he practically ran down the next couple stairs to all of the presents. "David I swear we did not buy even half as many presents as that" I said to him confused, considering we didn't actually get that much for mason. "I know I have a surprise for you too" he said smiling and turning the camera to face me. "Okay I suddenly do not trust you at all" I said laughing. "Okay mason wait for momma" David said as mason was sat next to the tree itching to open some presents. I sat down on the floor next to mason next to our tree and waited for David to return with whatever this surprise is.
"Okay you ready?" He called from the other room. "Maybe" I replied having no idea what on Earth he was going to bring out. "Okay here's your surprise" David said opening the door.
I stared at the door for a minute before I saw the surprise. My parents, David's parents and David's siblings all walked in. "Oh my god you guys!" I said getting up and hugging firstly my family and then David's.
I was super happy. All of our family were planning to come over today but they were supposed to be coming later on. Now the amount of presents under the tree made sense. All of the presents for our family are there and the presents from them all are there too which makes sense. This was amazing and I'm super excited to get to spend the whole day with family but the only thing is that it means everyone is going to find out about the baby even sooner, probably even in the next half hour. "Thank you so much Dave" I said kissing his cheek "best surprise ever" I added. "You're welcome babe" he replied. "Do you want to give the cards now?" David asked talking about the cards with the scan pictures in that would tell everyone about the new baby. I took a deep breath and nodded. "It's going to be fine baby, they're going to be happy" he said quietly, kissing my head. I nodded and grabbed the cards from the drawer we were keeping them hidden in.
David handed them out and told everyone not to open them yet. He grabbed his camera and made sure everyone was sitting in view in front of the Christmas tree. I was stood right beside David with my hand linked in his. "Okay open" David said as he turned the camera on. Everyone opened their card. In mine and David's parents we had written "you're going to be grandparents again" and in Ester, Sara and Toby's we had written "you're going have another niece/nephew"

As they all saw the picture and read the words, everyone looked up at me and David in disbelief. Their eyes were wide and they were smiling. "Oh my god honey I can't believe it!" My mom said getting up and hugging me. "I'm so proud of you" she whispered in my ear as we hugged. "Congratulations David too" my mom said hugging him also. Everyone followed with hugs and congratulations I honestly felt so unbelievably blessed to have such loving and caring people in my family. My dad was kind of quiet again and I was so scared he was going to disapprove again. "Liza" he said kind of sternly "Yeah" I replied quietly walking towards him. "I am so proud of you and so so happy for you. You have grown to be such an amazing person and the best mother to your two, I love you and am so so proud of you" he said to me bringing me into a hug. As we hugged tears flowed down my cheeks. I have never been so unbelievably happy in my life. This is all I have ever wanted.
As me and my dad broke apart he kissed my cheek. I gave everyone else a hug again, still sobbing at how happy I am. "Mommy why you crying?" Mason asked me as I sat back down on the floor. "Because Mommy has a baby in her tummy and she is super happy" David said joining us sitting on the floor and wrapping his arms around me. "Baby?" Mason questioned "yup right here" David said putting his hands on my stomach and revealing my small bump through my onesie. Mason looked happy but considering he is only two and a half got distracted by the presents again and kind of forgot. We let all of the kids open theirs first which created a lot of noise and mess but whilst everyone else was being crazy, me and David were sitting near mason but, David was sitting and I was sitting between his legs resting on him as I watched mason open all of his new toys. "Liza I'm so proud of you" David said to me as he lightly rubbed circles on my stomach. "I haven't done anything" I replied confused "you have done everything, you've given me two amazing children, you have stayed with me, you have been my fiancée for three years and I just love you so so freaking much. I'm proud of everything you do liza" he said to me. "I'm proud of you too" I replied. "For being the most supportive human being in the world and staying with me through all the ups and downs, plus you did half the work of the baby making" I said laughing. "That is true" he said smiling. "We get through it together." I said. "We sure do baby, we sure do" he replied .

Everyone must have been opening presents for at least an hour and a half before we were finally done. "Okay so what does everyone want for breakfast?" I asked getting up from David's grip. "Babe I'll go do it" David said also getting up. "You sure?" I asked him knowing he hates cooking. "100%" he said kissing my head. He walked off to the kitchen and I sat down with my mom. "Aw liza you know I'm so proud of you" she said as I sat down next to her. "Thanks" I replied smiling. "What do you want it to be?" She asked me excitedly. "I'm not sure, either is good but I kind of want a little girl. Mason and David are super close now and I want to have that with a little girl" I explained. "That would be adorable, seems like you have it all planned out" my mom laughed. "Not really," I replied laughing a little. "How's the morning sickness been?" My mom asked. "Pretty bad, I think today is the only day I haven't thrown up for at least half an ouf of my morning. The other day when we went to a scan I threw up in the hospital and it was the most embarrassing thing ever" I vented. "Aw my poor angel" she said. I hugged my mom once more before I got up and looked at mason. He was sitting on the floor happily being entertained by Ester, Sara and Toby which was super cute. I also looked over at mine and David's parents talking. I've never been so freaking happy. I walked through the house and into the kitchen where David was standing cooking. I decided to sneak up behind him so I crept across the floor and warspled my arms around his waist. "Boo" I said as I did it. "Hey Liza" he said as he turned round and put his arms over me. "Didn't I scare you?" I asked him pouting. "Nope, I heard you" he replied. "Thanks so much for my surprise baby" I said kissing resting my head on his chest as we hugged. "Any time babe, I'm so happy about everyone's reactions" he said to me. I felt my eyes well up with tears yet again over how happy I am. Me and David stood hugging for a moment before he heard me sniffing. "Babe? What's wrong?" He asked me super concerned. "I'm so freaking happy Dave, you make me the happiest person in the whole entire world" I said to him. I saw him smile as I spoke to him. That freaking smile. "You don't need to cry" David said holding me closer to him. "I'm pregnant and hormonal David I can't help crying" I said laughing a little. "True, but also you make me the happiest too and I love you so much" David told me kissing my head again. "I love you too merry Christmas Dave" I said to David. "Merry Christmas baby" he replied.

Soon after, everyone ate breakfast. We spent the whole day in our pyjamas and eating food all together with our families.

When it got to around 8pm, we all got changed into pyjamas and watched lots of Christmas movies. I only thought that our family was staying for today but David surprised me again by telling me that they were sleeping over at our place in the spare rooms and in masons room.
Mason had gotten a toddler bed from 'Santa' so David has spent a lot of the day building it. I've wanted mason to have a toddler bed for a while but I know he's going to come into our room so many times in the night.

When it got later, all the kids went to bed and us adults stayed up longer. Everyone was drinking except from me which was kind of annoying but it was all for a good reason so it made it up a little. We continued watching movies until at least 2am, David had his arms round me the whole time and we cuddled constantly.

We eventually went to bed and me and David cuddled up once more. "You did super good today babe telling everyone" David praised. "I couldn't even have done half of it if you weren't by my side the whole time" I replied. He kissed the side of my head and then pulled back the blankets so that my stomach was revealed. He lifted my shirt a little and pressed a kiss onto my stomach "we love you so so much little one" he said he rested his hand on my stomach for a minute before coming back up and kissing my cheek. "Night liza, I love you so freaking much" he said. I held the tears back which was hard considering how cute that was. "Night, love you too" I replied. We soon fell asleep. What an amazing Christmas.
