Chapter twenty one- sick

David's pov
I woke up and heard Liza run to the bathroom and throw up. I jumped out of bed and ran after her. I knelt on the floor beside her and held back her hair with one hand and rubbed her back with my other hand. "It's okay babe, you got it" I said. When she was done she sat up. Tears were running down her face and she looked super pale. I pulled her straight into a hug and she sobbed more into my shoulder. "It hurts so much" she cried. "I know babe" I said still hugging her tight. We stood up and Liza brushed her teeth and then went back to bed. I went downstairs and got a glass of water for Liza before bringing it back up to her along with a ginger cookie as it was supposed to help the sickness. Just as I was about to get back into bed mason shouted. I went into his room and pulled him out of his crib. We really do need to get him a toddler bed but we've kind of been pretty busy at the minute as Liza has been quite sick and tired and we just haven't gotten round to it. "I took him through to the bathroom and he sat on his potty until he peed which wasn't long. He's been begging so good at the potty training thing In just the past few week. "Where's momma?" He asked sweetly. "Momma is still in bed because she's sick" I told him. He looked sadly at me when he heard about Liza not feeling good. "Should we take her a present?" I asked him. He nodded. I took him into my office where I had a present ready for Liza that I had been making for a few days. It was a cute little box which had reasons I love her inside on little slips of paper. I decided to let mason do some "Mace what do you love about Momma?" I asked him. "She is the best Momma" he said. I gave him a slip of paper and he drew squiggles all over it considering he can't write, I then write on the back 'you are the best Momma' I asked him a few more times which he answered, 'she reads me stories', 'she lets me play' and 'i love her' I wrote them all down and let mason decorate the paper before adding them to the box. I now had 30 slips of paper which was perfect. I gave the box to mason and he carried it through to Liza. As soon as he saw her he got excited and ran up to her. "Momma look I got a present" he said as I helped him up onto the bed. He gave it to Liza and she looked at my suspiciously. "It's a present for you" I said as she looked down at it. "Reasons we love you" she read. She opened the box and took one out and read it. "This is the cutest thing ever, thank you so much" she said picking a few more up and reading them. Me and mason both got into bed with Liza and all cuddled. After a while liza had fallen asleep again. At first I just watched her. Her chest going up and down with each breath, her eyes often fluttering. Her face just being perfect in general and her hand resting on her flat stomach. After that, me and mason got up and went downstairs. I started by making him lunch. I gave him a grilled cheese and some tomatoes. After he had eaten, I checked on Liza and she was still asleep. I got a piece of paper and wrote a little note saying "we've gone out, be back soon, love you" I put it on top of her phone so when she woke up she would see it. I then got masons red converse and put them on him before putting his hoodie on and then doing the same for myself except I was wearing my black vans and my denim jacket. I let him bring one of his little toys so he would be happy. We got into the Tesla and drove to target. I got a cart and put mason in it before we bought the groceries we need for the next week. I got everything that Liza would usually buy along with a few extra things like chocolate and treats since she will probably want stuff like that. I also may have let mason pick out a new toy for himself as he was being super good. We paid for all of our stuff and packed it in the car before driving to the closest Starbucks. I got Lizas favorite drink to help her feel better as well as getting me and mason a drink. We then drove back home. As soon as we got in, i called The maternity place to arrange an appointment to see the baby and check they are doing okay as we didn't get round to doing it. After that I wrote it on a note and stuck it to the fridge so I would remember. Then me and mason took Lizas drink to her. We knocked on the door and went in. "How long have you been up?" I asked Liza as I saw she was awake. "Maybe like half an hour" she said putting down her phone. "We got all the groceries, called the maternity ward and made an appointment and got you a Starbucks" I said as mason went round to Liza and handed her the drink. "God I love you both" she said taking a sip of her drink. "How are you feeling?" I asked sitting next to her on the bed and pulling mason onto the bed with me and Liza. "A lot better" she replied. "I still feel pretty tired but I don't feel sick so that's a good thing I guess" she added. "That's good, I hate seeing you feeling sick" I said as she rested her head on my shoulder I rested my head lightly on top. Mason joined in our little hug and we all snuggled once again. "All I need is you three" I said kissing mason and Lizas heads and resting my hand on her stomach again. "I love you" she said as we kissed. "I love you too baby, forever and always"

A/n
I'd say cheesy ending alert but this is a cheesy chapter alert. This is kind of just a filler chapter but more exciting stuff will be coming soon.
