Chapter eighteen- Halloween

David pov
I woke up to my arms being tight around Lizas tiny waist under the warmth of our comforter and about a million blankets that Liza is completely obsessed with. Lizas body was pressed against mine perfectly and her hands were still wrapped around my neck, her head was buried into my shoulder and I could feel her body slowly rising and falling with each breath. It's really unbelievable how much love I can hold for one person. I really do believe so much we were completely made for each other, I think if we ever broke up I really wouldn't be able to live anymore.

After a good half an hour of staring at Lizas perfectness, she started to stir and eventually woke up. As she woke up she yawned and cuddled into me even more than she already was. "Morning baby" I said pressing a kiss into her untameable bed hair. "Morning" she said in a tired yet soft tone. "Is mason awake?" She mumbled into my chest. "Not yet" I replied. I sat up a little and so did Liza. I was sitting against the back of the bed and Liza rested her head on my chest as my arms were still around her.
After another half hour of cuddling, mason started shouting our names. I moved to get up but Liza stayed hugging me. "Do you have to move I'm comfy" she said laughing a little. "I've got to go get mace" I replied also laughing and tearing myself away from Liza. I walked across the hall to masons room. I pushed his door open and saw him trying to climb out of his crib. "Mason, what are you doing?" I said kind of freaking out because he was close to falling. I ran over and caught him before he would have fallen. "Jesus mason" I said placing him on the ground. He laughed in reply as he seemed to find it funny when I was mad at him. I changed his diaper and then took him back through to Liza. "Morning little one" she said as he climbed onto the bed. "He decided to get out of bed himself this morning" I told liza. "Oh my god did he fall?" She asked. "No I caught him thankfully" I replied. "I think it's time for a toddler bed" Liza said.
We laid in bed for a little longer before going downstairs to eat breakfast We ate breakfast of pumpkin spice pancakes that Liza had made, after we ate we sat On the couch for a while and relaxed whilst mason watched tv.
I'm pretty excited for today as it's Halloween and it's obviously not masons first Halloween but it's the first one we have celebrated with him. The whole of October he had been wearing Halloween pyjamas and we have the house all decorated. We weren't planning on having a party or anything but we're going to take mason out trick or treating and Kristen, Scott and Kiera, Paige, josh and belle and Jason,Charley and wyatt are also coming with us. It's like the vlog squad but the vlog squad with kids.
To be honest it is so crazy how much our group of friends have changed over the years. Lots of us have had kids, got into new relationships and some have stayed the same.
"What are you thinking about?" Liza asked staring at me. "Oh nothing much" I replied. "You better not have been thinking about Stacey" she replied smiling. "Id pick you over Stacey any day" I replied. "What so Stacey is an option" Liza said pretending to be offended. "I said you were before her to be fair" I laughed shrugging. "I see how it is" she replied folding her arms. "Would I do this to Stacey" I said walking towards Liza and picking her up and kissing her. She melted into the kiss and it got pretty passionate. "I suppose not" she replied looking at me full of love, she kissed my once more before I put her down. She wrapped her arms round my torso and rested her head on my chest. "Is there a reason you have hugged me almost all day so far" I asked, even though I was loving it. "I don't know, I'm kind of just super tired and I have cramp so I'm probably about to get my period" she explained. "Well can you get you're period all the time because you're being super cute and I love it" I replied hugging her tighter. "You wouldn't be saying that if you had periods" Liza replied laughing. "I know, you're amazing" I said to her. "I'm kind of sad again that my period is coming and I'm not pregnant though" she said looking down. "Hey" I said lifting her chin "we're taking a break for a while, don't be sad we will have another baby at some point"I told her. She nodded and continued cuddling.
After a while more of relaxing and cuddling, we got ready for the day. I was wearing a black "spoopy" hoodie which was my Merch in like 2017 with some jeans. Liza was wearing blue ripped jeans and a cream jumper and finally mason was wearing some jogger jeans and a monster sweater which was fitting for today.
To fill time, we went to target to buy candy and also stopped off at start bucks as per usual. We relaxed for quite a while before it was finally time to start getting ready for trick or treating.

Lizas pov
We dressed mason into a cute little skeleton costume which he chose from target and then I did his face paint. I did his whole face white and then used some eyeshadow to make him look like a skeleton. He looked super cute when I was done so I obviously took a picture of him. "Hey David" I called to my fiancé from the top of the stairs. "Yeah babe" he replied. I love it so much when he calls me that "come up here and look, now you can tell mason is your child" I said laughing a little. "What do you mean?" He asked back. "Just come look" i replied. I heard him come up all of the stairs and when he walked into the room he laughed also. "Awww he's white" he said picking up mason. "I skeleton" mason said smiling. "Yeah you are buddy, you excited to get some candy" David asked him. "Yeah!" He replied excitedly "and to see wyatt, Charley, belle and Kiera" I added in. "Yeah I  see wa chaley belle and kera" he said reciting all of the names even though he couldn't pronounce most of them. "Yeah good boy" I replied encouraging him.

At around half four, Kristen and Scott arrived. As soon as they came in I stole Kiera for a hug. And me and Kristen went into the living room to talk whilst the boys were filling up the bowl of candy and putting it outside with the "take1" sign.
"So how've you been" Kristen asked starting a conversation, "alright I guess but lately I've just felt a bit off. I think it's because my period is due to start any day though" I explained. "Why what's up?" She asked. "I've just been feeling super tired and I've got cramp a lot and I just kind of feel super emotional and I just want to hug David and mason all the time" I explained. "I get you" Kristen replied hugging me.  "You're actually the best friend in the world" I said as we hugged. I passed Keira back to Kristen. She had dressed Kiera into a black shirt with a pumpkin face in sparkles and a orange tutu that was too big but it was so cute.
I moved back to the other side of the sofa as David, Scott and mason came in the room. David came and sat next to me and put his arms around me yet again and I snuggled into him smelling his familiar scent that I absolutely adore. Scott sat down next to Kristen and did a similar thing. He put his arm around Kristen and then stroked Kiera's cheek with his finger. Mason went straight over to Kristen and Keira as he loves them so much.
A few minutes later Paige, josh and belle arrived. As soon as they came in belle went super shy as she's only met mason a few times. Josh picked her up and she hid her head into his neck. "You not going to say hi belle?" Josh asked his daughter. She shook her head still buried into josh's shoulder. Paige hugged me and Kristen as she came in and then they both sat down. After another few minutes Jason arrived with wyatt and Charley too. When they came in they were way more excited than the other three considering they actually knew what was going on. Wyatt and Charley have grown up so much. Wyatt is now 15 and Charley is 12. They hugged me and David when they came in along with everyone else. David almost instantly got his camera out. "Oh my god" I said laughing a little as I thought of a joke. David turned the camera towards me. "Everyone's gonna think Jason is a dad to 11 kids" I said as everyone laughed. "Hey I'm not that old" he replied, everyone just looked at him raising their eyebrows.

We all went out at around five, Belle finally warmed up and now her and mason were being the cutest by holding hands as they walked down the streets. They were like a mini me and David as we were doing the exact same thing. I still felt super tired and super emotional and have cramp but It made me happy seeing how cute mason was and David kept me going through the whole thing.
Almost every minute our friends were telling us to 'stop being so couply' or 'stop being in love so much' which they were obviously joking but I always love David so much and I do especially when I'm feeling super crappy and emotional, and I know he feels the same way about me.
