Chapter fifteen- best friends baby

Lizas pov
I woke up to my phone ringing. I checked the clock. 5:33 am. I looked at the caller Id to see it was Scott calling. I knew it must be serious so I accepted the call and put the phone up to my ear, walking out of the room so I don't wake David. "Hey Is everything okay?" I asked into the phone. "I think kristens in labour but we don't know" he said sounding completely panicked. "Okay, have you guys just some up?" I asked. "No she's been having contractions since 3 am" he said. "Okay first of all you both need to be calm, it's all going to be fine and second time how far apart they are and then you should call you're midwife" I explained. "Thank you Liza, you are the best" he said "anything to help my best friends" I replied. I ended the call and snook back into my bed, trying it to wake David, but as soon as I got back in he put his arms around me. "Who was that?" He asked in a sleepy tone. "Scott, Kristens in labour" I said. "That's exciting" he said sleepily again, falling back asleep. "I love you" I whispered kissing his cheek as we both fell back asleep.

I woke up again to my phone buzzing constantly. I sat up again and picked up my phone, I used my finger print to unlock it before opening my messages. They were all from Kristen.

'How the hell do you do this'

'It hurts so much'

'Omg Liza I've never felt pain like this
before'

'Send help'

'Omg why did I sign myself up for this'

I laughed a little as I read the messages.
'I bet you're doing great, it's so worth it in the end' I texted back
Just as I put my phone back down mason started shouting "Momma and dada" at the top of his lungs which also woke David up.
"Morning" I said kissing Jaw. "Morning Baby he said twirling his finger in my Afro hair. "Is Kristen in labour or did I dream that?" He asked clearly confused. "That's was real, and yeah she's heading to the hospital now. I said looking down and reading the newest message on my phone from Kristen. He got out of bed and went to get mason before bringing him in to me to get cuddles. "Good morning mace" I said as David placed him onto the bed. "Morning moma" he replied. I hugged him super close and super tight just like every other morning. "You want to go out for breakfast?" david asked dragging himself out of bed. "I'm so glad you asked that" I laughed getting out of bed and helping mason down too. We decided to go to a super nice little breakfast place that is just a couple blocks away before getting ready to go.
David was wearing black jeans, a white shirt and a denim jacket, I was wearing some plue jeans and my white pizza shirt. I also dressed mason into some black overalls with a white shirt and some black converse. When we were ready we got into the Tesla and headed to the breakfast place.
When we arrived, we walked in and we were seated at a table at the window. We chose what we wanted and it soon arrived. David had a breakfast burrito, I had avocado, eggs and toast and mason had some french toast and bacon. We ate and had family time. Mason was being super cute and trying to imitate us by repeating every word we said which was so so adorable. We paid for our food and left, we got back into the Tesla. As I put my seatbelt on my phone began to buzz. I looked down at it to see Kristen FaceTiming me. I instantly pressed accept to see my best friend in a hospital gown on a hospital bed. "Omgggg" I said as I saw her. "Yeah, apparently I've been in labour for a while" she said laughing. "Omg how many centimetres?" I asked so excited for her. "Ummmm only like 7" she said laughing. "Omg no wayyyyyy" I said excited. "It seriously hurts so so so much" she said as a contraction clearly started she swore a lot and Scott was comforting her. When it was over she began speaking again. "Sorry liza I'm busy being tortured by my child" she said laughing. "It's super hard but it's super worth it" i said happily.  "I place lasts bets that it's a boy" I said. "I'm still thinking girl, I just have a feeling" she replied."I think boy" David piped in. "Okay well I'm going to go now and hopefully next time i see you I'll have a baby" she said looking excited and scared. "You will do amazing, I love you boo" I said . "Thanks, love ya" she replied before ending the call.
"I can't believe they're gonna be parents" I said to David as he pulled into our house. "It's crazy" he said opening the garage and driving inside.

We went into the house and relaxed for a while. We all snuggled on the sofa and watched a movie together.
After a while, we had lunch. Which consisted of grilled cheese and chips.

After a few more hours, we finally got the call that we have been waiting for.
My phone buzzed and I immediately swiped to accept the FaceTime.

"Hey" Kristen said showing her and her baby asleep on her chest. "Omg" I said my eyes filling up with tears of happiness for my best friend. "You can come and see her if you like" Kristen said. "Omg it's a girl!" I said excitedly. "Yeah, you were a hundred percent right, she was worth everything already" Kristen said. "When can we come and see her" I asked. "You can come now if you guys want" she said as Scotty walked over and picked her up from kristens chest. Kristen quickly kissed her head before scotty cradled her in his arms. "Okay boo, we're gonna come now so we will see you soon, love ya" I said ending the call.
We all almost instantly got into the car and drove to the hospital.
When we arrived, we went up to floor three room 15 and immediately all rushed into kristens room. David was carrying mason and I rushed to kristens side straight away to her and her baby girl. "Omg Kristen she is so beautiful" I said as I say in the side of the bed and hugged them both. "Thanks, I cant believe I created this" she replied. "Can I hold her?" I asked. "Of course" she replied handing her over. As soon as she was in my arms I felt my eyes filling up with tears. "Oh jesus" I said wiping them away. "The shoe is on the other foot now" Kristen laughed. I looked over at David and he was vlogging me. "Liza you are crazy" he said. "I'm not, Kristen and scott make cute babies" I said as tears still rolled down my cheeks. "We make cute babies too" he replied pointing to mason who was playing with Scott. "Yeah but this is my best friends baby" I said looking into her tiny cute face. David put his camera away and sat next to me on the bed. He put one arm around me and kissed my head. "I am so ready for this to be us again" I said quietly as Kristen and Scott were distracted by mason. He smiled as we both looked at the baby. "Wait a second" i said sitting up a little. "What?" Kristen asked looking super concerned. I turned round to face her and Scott. "What's her name?" I asked completely forgetting we didn't know yet. "Okay well you guys are going to be the first to know and we aren't going to share it on the internet yet okay?" Scott said being protective over Kristen and his baby girl. "Her name is.......
