Gavin's POV

Connor looked disapointed when I dropped him off yesterday, he seemed like he enjoyed being around me - which not many people can say. I admit, it was kinda nice to have someone to do something with. But I know I'll never be the kind of person to actually go and make conversation. Connor was adorable when he was out of character and I admit, he's way better as a deviant. I never really noticed how captivating his face really is. Everything about him is perfect. Now we work on a case together.

It was the day off, I usually spent days off doing nothing, smoking, playing video games and eating takeout. But when I reached the door to go and buy some local Chinese, I saw someone walk up to my door..... I held my gun and prepared.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. Who the fuck would come to my apartment at 9:00am?
I peeked through the spyhole... it was... Connor? Well.. it looked like Connor but it had blue eyes and was wearing a black and white jacket. I cautiously opened the door.
"Hello detective Reed. I'm Niner, rk900. I have been sent by cyberlife to assist you on your case."
I looked at his dumbfounded.
"But.. I'm working on it with Connor. What's happening to him?" I asked... concerned?
"Don't worry detective, he has been placed with Luitenent Anderson."
"Why?! We caught two of them! Isn't that a good thing? You piece of shit!"
Niner rolled his eyes.
"Detective. Your being placed with me because luitenent Anderson asked to be with Connor."
"That mother fucker! What's his fucking problem!?" Niner placed his hands on my shoulders.
"If your that upset, perhaps I should comfort you. Let me inside."
I stepped to the side to allow him to walk past.
He was taller than Connor. He moved to the sofa and sat, I hesitantly sat next to him.
"Don't you need a hug?"
I glared at him,
"Fuck no. If you can't already see, I'm pissed."
He looked down.
"I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I was originally placed with Luitenent Anderson but he said 'I don't want a fucking rip off Connor' I don't know what I did wrong. But by the sounds of it, Connor seems like an amazing android if two people are fighting over him." I sighed, I know how that feels. Elijah was always the 'better' child. Fucking Prick was the center of everyone's attention all the time. I got nothing. So I joined the police to try and be apart of something. So my parents would be proud of me. But look at me. I'm being comforted by an android and the worst thing that could happen has happened.

I've fallen for Connor.
