Name: Hans Corone

Age at Death: Sixteen

Year of Death: 1601

Gender: Male

Appearance: Hans is hans-some.  He has dark brown hair and warm brown eyes to match.   His skin is a tan shade and is littered with freckles.   Hans is on the tall side for his age and time period.   Years of sneaking around the palace grounds and practicing with heavy tools such as swords have left Hans muscular.

Personality:  Hans is naturally charismatic and confident.  In a rather odd contradiction of this, he cares deeply about what people think of him.  He is also fiercely loyal and naively open with those he cares about.   Rather ironically, he uses manipulation on others, but never realizes when others are manipulating or lying to him.  In a way, Hans has a sort of childish trusting innocence that is similar to the way a child may believe no one else will be naughty even if they are.

Background: Hans was born the youngest of four sons of a royal family.  Since there was very little chance of him ever sitting on the throne, everyone mostly left him to his own devices.  He used this to figure out new ways to sneak out of the palace on a regular basis.  Because of this, he had much more contact with others outside the castle than his siblings.  It was outside the castle that he met and fell in love with Seraphine Diaspro, a peasant girl.  However, because of her low status, despite Hans’s love struck promises, they could not marry.  Instead, Hans was betrothed to a princess.  She didn’t want to marry him either, and stabbed a dagger through his heart one day when they were on a walk together.  In death, Hans would be happy if not for the untimeliness of his demise.  He couldn’t stand the idea that he and Seraphine had parted on unhappy terms, and that his killer would benefit from his death.

How They Died: Dagger through the heart.

Reason for Participating: Hans always wanted to talk to Seraphine one last time, as well as expose the fact that his former fiancée’s expected child was not his.

Strengths: Hans is cunning, fast on his feet, and muscular.

Weaknesses: Hans is trusting, overconfident, and underestimates people.

Weapon of Choice: A sword.
