"Spirits of Air, Earth, Fire, and Sea
Converge together, set thy angel free
From my tongue, I send this rhyme
In hopes that my offering appeases time
Cast aside morals, see what is near
Make a quick judgment, bring death here

After a long day filled with new rooms and Seamus and Ravens bickering, the three of us found ourselves in the "Legion Only" cafeteria. Seamus and I raided the cabinets and stuffed our faces with obscene amounts of food and candy, while we caught many disgusted looks from Raven who had chosen to stick to a boring salad.
"I think I've lost my appetite after watching you gluttons over there, eat a kingdom's worth of food," Raven said, pushing his plate away from him.
I smiled warmly at Raven and rubbed my stomach, "Sorry. I just couldn't stop myself. I haven't eaten all day."
A large arm swung around my shoulders and I smelt the scent of liquor on his breath. "Don't feel sorry for him lass. Human food don't taste the same anymore for Mr. High and Mighty over there." He sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, "and I'm sorry for forgetting to feed ya."
Raven closed his eyes and bowed his head. "Indeed Mia. Don't be afraid to speak up if you need anything. We don't exactly need as much food as regular humans and it's been a long time since either of us were mortal."
They were mortal? This is news to me...but before I was able to inquire further, our conversation was interrupted. Lilith and another woman beside her confidently walked in, surveyed the room, and grinned when their eyes landed on me.
"Mia!," Lilith beamed and gestured to the woman standing next to her. "Iris and I were just talking and she came up with the great idea of taking you out to get acquainted before our training tomorrow. It's been a while since we've had a girls night and what better to get to know one another."
I couldn't believe they wanted to hang out with me. After the authority Lilith had commanded earlier it almost felt like I was in the presence of royalty. "I would love that! What exactly do you have in mind?"
Iris took a step forward and squeezed her hands in excitement. "We should do a fais-do-do!" Her voice laced with an unfamiliar accent.
"A what?" Lilith questioned.
"You know. A par-ty." She enunciated.
"We need something that requires less planning and more going out and having fun," Lilith replied.
I approached the women and stuck my hand out. "I'm Miamora but you can call me Mia. If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?"
She grasped my forearm in an embrace which at first shocked me but then I returned the gesture. "I don't mind at all, cher. I'm Iris and originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. My family is Creole." She chuckled and shook her head, "though I suppose between Seamus, Jeff and myself, my accent is probably the least shocking."
"I don't know what you're talking about. I sound completely normal. It's you lot, that sound like a bunch of muppets." Seamus called from the other side of the room.
