Chapter 15

My arm felt stiff from sleeping in one position for too long. Naramdaman ko na namamanhid ang kaliwang kamay ko so i moved myself to lie on my other side pero bago pa tuluyang tumama ang aking likod sa aking malambot na kama ay may naramdaman na akong parang may tumusok na kung ano sa aking likuran.

Mabilis akong napabalikwas at naupo sa dulo. Nilingon ko ang kung anong bagay ang nandoon sa kanang bahagi ng kama.

Napatutop ako sa aking bibig sa nakita. Ilang beses pa akong kumurap na parang hindi makapaniwala sa nakikita.

How..? Who...? When....?

A bouquet of blue flowers is lying on the right side of my bed.

Hinagod at sinikop ko ang aking mahabang buhok bago tuluyang lumapit at kuhanin ang bouquet na iyon.

It looks and smells new.

Ilang minuto akong nakatulala sa mga bulaklak bago nabalik sa tamang huwisyo.

Maingat kong ipinatong ang bouquet sa bedside table at inayos ang aking kama. Naghilamos na rin ako ng aking mukha at nagsipilyo. 

Lumabas ako ng kwarto suot pa rin ang aking pajama shirt and shorts bitbit ang bouquet, and called Serene. I know she put this bouquet on my bed. I needed to ask some details.

"In here, ate." I heard Serene's voice in the kitchen so I made my way there.

"Did you p.... Oh my Goooo....!!!!" I instantly covered my face using the bouquet i'm holding.

I want to hide or run back to my room but I'm frozen in place.

He's here. I can't believe that Enzo is here in my kitchen. Or am I dreaming?

Tumayo siya sa kanyang upuan at nagsimulang lumakad papunta sa kinatatayuan ko. I don't know what to do so I just stood there watching him as he comes near me.

He placed his hands on the either sides of my waist and kissed the top of my head.

That gesture melts my heart and it made me close my eyes savoring the moment.

I felt his deep inhale pero hindi ako gumalaw. Hindi ako makagalaw. We stayed like that for I don't know how long until I can't bear the overflowing emotions anymore, so I spoke.

"Enzo..." I said in a very soft low voice and I don't know if he heard me.

He kissed my hair again and pulls from me. "Morning, baby. Did you have a good sleep?" He smiled.

Oh, Caius Lorenzo. Why are you doing this to me? You're really giving me heart attack. You're killing me.

Hindi ko na napigilan ang aking sarili at niyakap siya sa kanyang beywang. I felt his body stiffened a bit then relaxed.

He hugged me back and rest his head on top of mine kissing it.

"Hey...." His voice soothing.

He smells like soap mix with a masculine perfume. I can stay like this forever.

"Baby..."

I hugged him tighter kahit hirap ako dahil hawak ko pa rin sa aking kamay ang bouquet na nakapalupot sa kanyang baywang.

Someone coughed. "Sorry. Coffee went down the wrong pipe." Boses ni Serene na nauubo-ubo pa rin.

Natanggal ang aking pagkakayakap kay Enzo. Nakakahiya. Nakalimutan kong nandiyan nga pala si Serene. Hindi ko lang talaga mapigilan ang aking sarili, I just felt like I have to hug him so I did. And it felt extremely good. It felt right.

"I brought breakfast. I hope you're hungry." Sabi ni Enzo at inupo niya ako sa breakfast bar katabi niya at si Serene naman ay kaharap ni Enzo.

Tahimik kong inubos ang pancake at sausage na dala ni Enzo. Meron ding mga prutas sa lamesa. Ang dami niyang binili. Alam niya ba na kasama ko si Serene? Or feeling ba niya masiba ako?
