Chapter 21

I felt the car slowed and then stopped so I slowly opened my eyes to look kung nasaan na kami.

Sabi ko kay Enzo ay iidlip lang ako, pero buong biyahe ay nakatulugan ko siya. Ayaw ko pa naman din na tinutulugan ang driver sa biyahe.

Naramdaman ko ang pagkalas ni Enzo sa aking seatbelt at pagkatapos ay ang paghawak niya sa aking kaliwang pisngi kaya muli kong isinara ang aking mga mata.

Ang sarap sa pakiramdam na nasa tabi ko siya at hindi pa ako handa na bumalik sa realidad.

I heard him chuckled a bit and felt his other hand cupped the right side of my face.

"Hey.." He said softly, and affectionately stroke his thumb on my cheeks.

"We're here, baby. You need to wake up now." He added when I still didn't reply.

Ayaw ko pa umuwi. Gusto ko pa siya makasama. Hindi ba pwede na magbakasyon pa kami ng matagal? Bumalik nalang ulit kami sa Batangas o pumunta naman sa ibang lugar. Kahit saan.

Hindi pa rin ako nagsalita and I felt his lips on my forehead at nagtagal 'yun doon.

God... I don't want to leave our little bubble yet. I wanna be in this moment forever.

I wanna keep him.

Pagkatapos ng ilang minuto ay nawala na ang kanyang labi sa aking noo kaya minulat ko ang aking mga mata at diretsong tumama iyon sa kanyang mga mata.

Sobrang lapit ng aming mukha sa isa't isa. Pumungay pa ang kanyang mga mata and his lips parted. Napatingin ako roon. I suddenly want to kiss those attractive lips of his.

After a few seconds, he licked his lower lips.

Naputol na ang litid ng aking pagpipigil at hindi ko na napigilan na ilapit ang aking mukha at idampi ang aking mga labi sa kanya.

His lips are soft and his scent divine.

When I was about to draw back, I felt his lips moved and his hands drifts back to cup my head, the heel of his palms resting on my cheeks. Not letting me get away.

He tilted my head to the side using his hands, deepening the kiss.

Before I can even think of anything, I felt his tongue stroking mine softly. A low moan escapes my mouth and suddenly, he breaks the kiss.

I didn't have time to protest because my brain stopped working from his very passionate kiss and my breath is ragged. I couldn't breathe properly.

Enzo rest his forehead on mine, he is too, breathing heavily.

We stayed like that for a moment until we regain our breaths, then he speaks.

"I need to let you go now."

What?? Let me go? Why? After the moments we've been together, our amazing weekend in Batangas, and our first kiss...

Mabilis kong tinanggal ang kanyang mga kamay na nakahawak sa aking mukha at nagsalita.

"What do you mean? I thought.. We.. I-" I can hear panic in my voice.

Mabilis niyang hinawakan ang aking magkabilang braso.

"It's not what you think, okay? What I'm saying is, I need to let go of you now before I lose my control and do something you wouldn't want." His voice deep but soft.

He looked at me fiercely and swallowed. Ipinikit niya ang kanyang mga mata ng mariin at yumuko pero hindi rin nagtagal ay ibinalik niya sa akin ang kanyang mga titig.

"And that I need to get you to your condo or else, Serene will fire bullets at me." He chuckled.

"I just thought-"
