Rema's POV

(a/n: let's assume, na she's speaking in Japanese language and while talking, she's mixing tagalog, english and japanese words)

"Onegai, onii-sama!" (Please Kuya) I am asking his permission to go outside and play but my brother's very strict when it comes to me. Right now I'm using my cutest expression just to make him agree. Haay.

"I won't fall for the same technique this time, Rema." He said between his sighs.

"But you fell for it..." I paused and plaster a smile in my face. "Like, a million times." I giggled as I reminisce those times he fell for my cuteness.

He patted my head and turn around. He won't allow it, I know. I really want to see Renz right now and ask about her condition. That time when she covered for me, my mind became blank when I saw her blood dripping.

I felt guilty, that bullet was meant for me. Me, the mafia princess. How I hate being called like that.

I sat on the edge of the sofa and hold my chin as I think of a plan to escape here without Zeke noticing it.

"Rema, doshita no?" (What's wrong?) Zeke asked.

"Nandemonai." (Nothing) I flashed a smile to assure him. He smiled back and face his laptop. He's been busy since the day we got here. He's been with his laptop and phone and sometimes, he go out, leaving me here.

I have Mom but she's busy knitting a scarf. Why does she even want to make one? It's hot enough in the Philippines, we don't need a scarf.

After thinking about my plan, I sneak into the back entrance of the house where I can jump easily, is that what you call in tagalog, 'Bakod over'? or something? Well, whatever. I'll make sure I will successfully escape from here.

I have to be reeeally sneaky around here. From my left, I can see the guava tree that can help me cross over the wall. I check the area to make sure that no one will see me escaping from here.

Our house is really big and so is its backyard. Securities seldom visits here that's why its the perfect place to jump over the wall.

In one breath, I manage to land on the top of the wall. I think this wall is 8 to 10 ft high. I jumped and spin like a gymnast and landed safely in a crouch position. I am still facing the ground as I breath in some air.

I stood up and  cleaned my hands from dirt. Easy. I smiled.

Since I have my own money converted into Philippine bill, I guess I can manage on my own? As soon as I spotted a taxi coming, I called it, more like I waved my hand to get the driver's attention. "LoneBridge University." I spoke with my faded Japanese accent.

It took a while before I arrive at my brother's University. The security guard blocked my way that made me look at him. He's so tall and that made me distance myself away from him, since I can feel my neck hurting while looking at him at such a close distance.

"Ano po ang kailangan niyo?" He asked. I can understand his question since Zeke is teaching me Tagalog nowadays.

"I'm here to uhm... visit my brother?" I explained but seemed unsure. The truth is I'm here for a friend but I have to lie.

"May kairangan ako kanya." I added. I noticed the guard keeping his laugh inside. I shrugged. I don't even know what's funny.

But in the end he let me in without a problem. I roamed my eyes around the school's entrance. I'm so amazed at the place, to the student's this may be a boring place but for me it feel so great to be here. I feel like, I won this chance in a lottery. You can't blame me, I'm homeschooled since elementary.
