The next morning, we got back to our training after having a few days off. Brad and I were outside in the garden getting our practice in before Alcide's pack came to join us. We were stood in the centre of the garden, circling each other. We both had long wooden sticks and a blindfold on. This was our favourite form of training. Most people rely on their eye sight more than anything, it being our favoured sense. Werewolves' strongest sense is our nose but our hearing is really good as well, however we rely on our sight more than any others.

After we slowly circled each other three times I sensed Brad taking a step towards me with his right foot and swinging his stick at me. I dodged and hit back with my stick. Anybody watching us would think this is a choreographed dance routine but it wasn't. After a few more hits we started to do more complicated movements and hitting harder. The twists, turns and flips were getting better and more complicated the longer we went on. I managed to hit his leg, almost knocking him over and he managed to strike my arm. He went to go hit my legs to knock me over but I sensed it and jumped over his stick, flipping over his tall body and twisting in the air. When I landed, my front was to his back and I hit him right between the shoulder blades then kicked him in the back of the knees making him land on them. Then put the stick across his throat.

"Almost Bradley Bear." I said to him, then kissed his cheek chuckling.

"It's not fair that you win every time." He replied and I knew he was rolling his eyes. I stood back, removing the stick from his throat and he stood up. We both took off our blindfolds and realized everyone from Alcide's pack was stood there watching us with shock and awe. I shifted uncomfortably under everyone's gaze. Brad growled rather loudly and shouted at them, 'What are you all looking at?' snapping everyone back into reality and taking the focus off of us.

"You are getting better Bear." I told him with a smirk on my face.

"I knew you jumped behind me, I could feel the air move but you're just too darn quick, it's not fair." He said, almost pouting. I just laughed before linking arms through his and walking to stand on the decking in the back garden. I whistled to get everyone attention noticing most of them cringed from the volume of it. I chuckled then explained that Brad was now in charge of training.

We decided to show Brad everything they've done and learnt so far so he could assess them and see where to go from there. He made everybody pair up and have one person in each pair shift into a wolf. He got Mitch to turn into his wolf and demonstrated a few ways of being able to attack someone as a wolf. He then had everybody practice it. I walked over to Brad when everybody was training.

"What do you think?" I asked looking at everybody fighting.

"It's alright, but it could be a lot better. I think we need another hour a day to train and train every day to get them up to shape. They all practically know the basics but they are sloppy. We can't have that. Go get Alcide out here and I'll fight with him." I gave Brad a pointed look. "I won't hurt him Milly, I swear." He said holding his hands up in defense and rolling his eyes. When I walked towards the Alphas office, I heard Brad mutter 'At least not that much.'

"I heard that!" I shouted at Brad.

"You were meant to!" He shouted back. I just gave him the finger. When I got to the office Alcide was sat behind the chair with a pile of paper work in front of him. He looked rather stressed. I walked over and sat on the table next to the paper work facing him.

"Brad asked me to come get you; he's going to train you to fight."

"Hmm" Was his reply, not really listening.

"Alcide? Everything okay?"

"Hmm what? Oh yeah, it's just... I think there's something fishy going on..."
