Luck was not on Alex's side. After recently losing her Dad and her job, on Valentine's day when she tried to surprise her boyfriend, AJ, she was the one surprised finding him sleeping with another woman.
Meanwhile, Rob has it all -- a good family...
The following week, puro work lang usually, meetings and site visits here and there. Araw-araw hinahatid ni Josh si Alex. Gusto niyang makasama ang girlfriend as much as possible. Hindi nya maalis sa isip na past the gate, he would never know what happens within those walls of the old house between Alex and Rob. He always let out a huge sigh pag aalis na sya. And with it, reminded Alex to consider moving in with him. While the latter, tells him she'll think about it.
Inside the house, Rob would always hear a car engine around 8 o'clock in the evening at their front gate, and it only means one thing -- Josh dropping Alex home. He would just go on with his usual stuff, client emails or conference calls with foreign clients or catching up on Netflix.
Rob: Hey~~
Alex: Hey... Homeland?
Rob: Yep
Alex: Anong season ka na?
Rob: Latest~~
Alex: Bilis mo ah.
Rob: Ah, just so you know, finishing touches nalang pala ung Physics lab sa QueSci. On Thursday is the opening of the building so we need to be there. I think it's also the opening ceremony for the school's Foundation Day~~
Alex: Ahhh, oo nga pala!
Rob: Can you visit the site next week from Monday 'til Wednesday to make sure everything is right on track?
Alex: Yeah, I will do that! No problemo!
Rob: You can bring Josh if he doesn't have anything at work~~
Alex: *just scrunched her nose*
Rob: *was unsure what that means*
Thursday, Rob and Alex attended the ribbon-cutting. Josh was left in the office as he's helping Marcus out in securing one of their foreign clients. He was gutted by the fact that his girlfriend is yet again with their boss. And Anton can't help but notice--
Anton: Huy Josh, anyare sa'yo? Lalim ng iniisip?
Josh: Huh?
Anton: Saang planeta ka ngaun?
Josh: *gave a fake smile then sighed*
Anton: Bigat ng buntong-hininga...
Josh: Wala, I'm just thinking about Alex
Anton: Hmmmm... And Rob? Together?
Josh: Yeah
Anton: No need to worry about anything. They're just there for the opening of the building and school ceremony thing, so~~
Josh: *sighed*

Close to 4pm na nang makabalik si Alex sa office. Rob went straight to his and Marcus' client meeting sa Katipunan area. Alex still stayed in the office because she still needs to finish some adjustments sa Kapitolyo project nila ni Anton. She told Josh to just go home and not wait for her and she'll just call when she gets home. She then received a message from Anton--

Rob got off the elevator and was surprised to see the hallway lights still turned on. He knew someone else was still in the office, so he went straight in and shocked to saw Alex on her desk.
Rob: Hey, you're still here--
Alex: Ahh yeah, tinatapos ko lang ung adjustments sa Kapitolyo project. Ikaw, bakit ka andito?
Rob: I left my things here, was just grabbing them
On his way out, he sat on Anton's chair which is next to Alex's desk, and asked,
Rob: Tagal ka pa?
Alex: Hmmmm.. Mga 30 minutes.
Rob: Nagdinner ka na?
Alex: Di pa. Kakainin ko na nga ung blueprints dun sa rack e.
Rob: Haha, pede mo bang i-share din sakin?
Alex: Hahaha, di ka pa ren nagdi-dinner?
Rob: Di pa. Hintayin na kita, then dinner muna tayo somewhere bago umuwi. Mag-taxi nalang tayo. Kanina ko pa pinauwi si Mang Nestor
Alex: Ahhhh. Mag-isip ka na san okay kumain...
Rob: What do you fancy?
Alex: Hmmm.. Something na nakakabusog?
Rob: Corny! Ahh, nga pala. Anton called me a while ago. Maghalf-day daw kayo tomorrow?
Alex: Sana, if okay lang sa'yo~~
Rob: I'll also be in QueSci tomorrow afternoon for another meeting, pwedeng sabay-sabay na tayo.
Alex: What meeting?
Rob: I think they're planning on knocking off one of the old buildings and replacing it.
Alex: Oooohhh.. Another project!
Rob: Good, right?!
Afterwards, they decided to just go in UP Town Center for dinner para malapit na sa bahay. They went for Banana Leaf and had to-share Thai Green Curry Chicken with Eggplant and Sweet Basil, Charcoal Grilled Sliced Pork Steak Thai Style and rice.
Since it would only take about 30 minutes to walk home, they decided doing that after.
Rob: How are you and Josh?
Alex: Okay, I guess-- He's asking me to move in with him at his apartment. He's uncomfortable with us living together under one roof.
Rob: And you're thinking about it?
Alex: Yeah.
Rob: And?
Alex: A big part of me is saying NO. I don't want to leave this place. But I don't want to disappoint him. I don't want him to feel sad or anything. Ewan! Naguguluhan ako!
Rob didn't asked further. They just quietly walk side by side the rest of the way home and said their goodnights as they went to their respective rooms after.
