SCENE 1: Conference Room with Sir Marcus

*in chorus*

Rob: You?!

Alex: Ikaw?!

Marcus: Rob, you know each other?

Rob: Not really. She was the one I told you about commenting on our library project at The Fort

Marcus: Ahhh, then same person who spilled coffee on your coat!

Alex: Hmmm.. I think I have to ~~

Rob: Have a seat... *Nanatiling nakatayo si Alex na parang natuod. Medyo naguluhan at nalito si Rob dahil laking akala nya Alex is a guy, tinignan nya ulet ang resume, clears throat* Miss Castañeda... I'm Robert Fernandez, Rob for short. This is Marcus De Vera, one of the senior architects in the firm

Alex: Good Morning po Sir Rob, Sir Marcus. Just call me ~~

Rob: Alex, yes! All the while, I thought you were a guy. Short for Alexandra, right?

*They all shook hands*

Alex: Ay hindi po. Alexis, short for Alexis. *smiles*

Rob: Have a seat. So you came from DesignBlocks Firm, can you tell us bakit ka nagresign?

Rob: Then why you? If you've been with them for almost 6 years...

Alex: Actually di lang po ako. It's management decision, so~~... Guess they chose on maturity, kung sinong medyo matatagal na sa office.

Rob: Fair Enough.

Marcus: Based from your work experience, you have worked in Singapore?

Alex: Yes, I was assigned there for a year to oversee the construction of a factory for computer servers.

Marcus: Great. Annnd, what about this Macau project?

But I was there for 3 months doing presentations and site visits for one of the hotel-casinos that's planned to be built there. Then the project got postponed for so many times because of budgeting and stakeholder changes. So na-park po sya nang matagal. But recently, I just got informed that they have already started the construction.

Marcus: That's good to hear.

Rob: Tell us, why are you joining us for a junior role? I think, you're overqualified with all these credentials.

Kahit junior or senior role pa yan, there's always something new to learn. And I'm looking forward to that.

Rob: Ok. Can I ask, anu-ano nga ulet ung mga comments mo about the library?

Alex: Ahhh, eh, Sir pwede po bang kalimutan nalang naten yun?

Rob: I want to hear your honest opinion. I'm sure Marcus does too, he designed that building. This is a good platform para sabihin yung mga comments mo.

Marcus: Don't worry, I won't bite. I would take it as a constructive criticism.

Yes I know, a library is just built for what it's intended for, but new generation na ngayon. The structure is already there so wala na tayo kayang mabago dun, but the interiors pwede pa naten i-enhance. We could put indoor plants so fresh sa mata. We could make the shelves more colorful instead na dark brown lang. Then the first hall, maganda if there are interactive stations that caters both kids and adult curiosities. We can put bean bags too, para mas maging comfortable sya for reading. Then yung walls, we can make it entertaining, like putting a wallpaper or decals. Something like that.
