Ch30: Back to School Part 2

Luke dropped by i2C Design office to pick Anton and Alex, sinabay naren nila si Rob. Josh, though Alex's supposedly +1, won't be able to make it because he's meeting his sister for dinner. Alex and Rob sat at the backseat. Rob asked if he can have his coat hang there as well. Alex and Anton were talking so loud inside the car, reminiscing their high school days and just so excited to go back to school; while Luke and Rob just looked at each other and laughed at how crazy the two best friends were.

When they reached QueSci, they split ways - Rob went ahead with his meeting with the engineers, principal and PTA officers; while Alex, Anton and Luke went to have a look around. Nag-bonding din sila with some of their teachers and batch mates - Grace, Ivy and Rowell - na teachers na ren. When Rob finished, he met the trio and joined them to have a blast at the food stalls and different booths set up by the students.

While they were eating fish balls and cheesy fries, some senior students came to grab Alex and Rob. They were clueless what's been happening. And when a voice-over announcement came on repeat saying to grab one alumni for the marriage booth, they didn't have any choice whatsoever. Apparently, the senior's homeroom adviser, Grace, is the culprit.

So they did this sort-of marriage ceremony thing with a student presiding as the celebrant. They put on a gown and veil on Alex; and coat and tie on Rob. They stood face to face each other, held hands while the student-priest asked them the "to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part" question. Then came exchange of fake rings and the you-may-kiss-the-bride part. Everyone just went nuts and were cheering on them especially Anton, Luke and their fellow alumni batch mates. Rob, knowing that Alex is already feeling embarrassed, and being the gentleman that he is, just gave her a peck on the forehead.

After the awkward moment, they went to walk around the old building that's supposed to be replaced. Alex and Anton looked back at the bleachers where they first met. And all the shenanigans that happened in high school. It was classic!

Since homecoming was drawing near, Anton and Alex went to The Spa in Trinoma to get an hour massage so they can have a shower and touch up for the event. Luke was just waiting patiently for them at the lobby. Rob went home to change. The three still don't know that he was invited by the principal to attend the ball the day prior.

Anton: Corny kanina ni Rob~~

Alex: Ha? What do you mean?

Anton: Bakit sa noo ka nya kiniss at hindi sa lips!!! Ano ka, lola?

Alex: Pag sa noo, lola na agad?

Anton: Sinira nya kasi ung momentum... Kilig na kilig ang mga bagets kanina~~

Alex: Hahaha~~

Anton: Tawa ka diyan! Nakakatawa kayong dalawa, lahat nalang ng meron senyo, fake! Fake bf-gf, fake marriage~~

Alex: Yung marriage pakana nyo naman nina Grace e!

Anton: Pero frieeeeeend, anong feeling?

Alex: Ng?

Anton: Kinasal kay Rob at hindi kay Josh, kahit kunwari lang...

Alex: Wala! Kasi hindi naman totoo. Sabi mo nga, kunwari lang~~

Anton: Wala kang na-feel kahit katiting?
