Phil's POV

As my eyes opened I saw Dan looking down at me with a worried expression. Then I recalled what happened.

"Is...Lucy...okay?" I said to Dan almost immediately, very out of breath.

Dan smiled. " she is fine thanks to you, how are you feeling? "

"I'm fine, it's just... I thought back to what happened but I am fine" I smiled.

Dan nodded. " because of the car? "

I nodded back at him. Then smiled to show I was okay.

"Are you going to be alright in the car?"

" should be"

Dan took Lucy into his arms then put her in her car seat. Then Dan took hold of my hand. "It's okay, I promise nothing will happen, okay" Dan whispered in my ear.

"Okay..." I replied.

Dan opened the door to the car and pulled me towards him. I went to get into the car but I stopped for a second to take it all in. Dan squeezed my hand as if to say that I can do it. Then I say down in the seat and smiled fully at Dan and he smiled back at me. He let go of my hand and closed the door, then got in his seat.

"If you need me to stop just tell me okay... I'm going to take you to my place to show you around a bit and then later we can get your things. sound okay?"

I nod.

*time jump*

Dan's house was very homely. The fire was lit and there was something on the tv, paw patrol I think it's called. Lucy was in Dan's arms wide awake watching the tv but Dan was fast asleep. I thought he must be tired so I took Lucy out of his arms and covered him with a blanket.

I walked into the kitchen with Lucy in my arms and made her a warm bottle of milk. This was a challenging task with one hand one could say but I say that I conquered it. I took us back into the living room, Dan still asleep on the sofa, and turned the tv off before I sat down. Lucy was already starting to doze off, then I started to give her the milk and within ten minutes she too was fast asleep.

I saw her room upstairs when Dan showed me to my room earlier. I took her to her room and out her in her cot with a blanket over her. She was truly adorable.

I walked quietly out the room and back downstairs. I made myself a glass of water and wrote Dan a note.

' Goodnight Dan :) I've fed Lucy and got her to sleep, I hope you don't mind. I would carry you to bed but I don't want to wake you, thanks for letting me stay here again <3 love Phil (your fave ex patient) x '

That should do...

I placed it on the small table next to the sofa Dan was on, for when he woke up.

Then I went upstairs and got changed into my pyjamas. I climbed into this incredibly comfy bed and fell asleep.
