Phil's POV
It was such a haze. One minute we were singing to Ed Sheeran in the car and the next the car is down a hill, on its side.
My arm hurts, so I look down and I can see blood dripping down my pale skin, with a massive shard of glass lodged in from the windscreen. My thoughts shift to pj, my best friend. He's helped me through so much over the past few years that i have known him; I couldn't bare to think of going by the rest of my days without him. He would always be a part of my heart. He isn't my lover, though I guess that would be easier considering we were both single but I didn't see him that way.
Please say he is okay...
I look over at him. He isn't okay. Like me he has glass wedged between his skin, but a lot more than me. All on his face and arms, and one massive piece stuck in the side of his neck, just under the chin. There was so much blood. His eyes weren't open, he was unconscious.
I need to call someone, but I don't have my phone, then I see pj's on the floor, slightly smashed. I grab for it and call 999.
There is an ambulance and a fire engine at the scene around five minutes after the phone call.
I was helped out and into a ambulance. But pj was still unconscious so they had to lift him out and onto a stretcher, and into another ambulance.
Then I collapsed onto the ambulance chair that I was sat at.
Just blackness...
