Sarah's POV

I was meeting him today. I never thought this would happen but it is.

I was on call to my dad for a few hours the other day, briefly catching up from the moments after my conception. Because after all that was the last time he had officially seen me. Isn't that just sad.

I decided to walk to the place we were meeting to help clear my head, just a bit. The streets were busy, the endless stream of people walking into me were mainly business people I assumed, due to their dull clothes, all matching with the next person's. Though there were a few people who were like me, lost, in some way or another. One of them was a man. He had chocolate brown hair and he had a look to him where I couldn't think of his age. It's like he was immortal, time travelling and not ageing. His smile beamed in the sunlight, even though our collision made him drop his things, including a few files and a book. Reading was one of my favourite things to do. It allowed me to escape just for a brief moment.

"I'm so sorry" I repeated for the hundredth time, while helping him pick up his things in the bustling crowd.

"It's fine, really! Thank you" he said standing up again and I passed him the items I had picked up.

"Wait, Lucy?" The man questioned, seeming a little confused.

"No, I'm Sarah, though Lucy is my long lost twin sister" I replied, laughing slightly at how crazy it would seem.

"Oh okay, I'm Chris"  he said putting his hand out to shake, which I accepted.

"How do you know Lucy then?" I questioned, curiosity getting the best of me.

"Oh, I'm a friend of the family" he answered with a smile.

"So you know my dad then?"

He smiled, "Yeah, Dan, he can be a bit of a dick towards me but I know he loves me"

"I guess everyone can be a bit of a dick... hey, do you know if he has a wife or anything? I'm meeting him today for the first time and I want to pre educate myself"

"A wife, no, a husband, yes" Chris said slowly.

"Oh, so he's..." I started.

"Gay?" He finished, I nodded, "Yeah" he answered.

"That's news"

"Yeah I guess, that must be pretty surprising. Anyway, I really need to get going but before I go can I have your number?" He said pulling out his phone.

I took the phone off of him, "sure, here's mine" I said passing him my phone.
