Phil's POV

It felt stupid wearing a suit. I knew peej would be laughing his head off at the thought of me having to wear this. That thought made me laugh.

I am lucky I had an amazing family today otherwise I don't think I'd make it through. Sure, this was all new to me and I hadn't known them long, just over a month, but I just felt so close to them both. Dan was such an amazing person, such a caring person. He let me just raid his house when he had only known me for a few days. And Lucy was just a little ray of sunshine. Sure she does have her moments of tantrums and crying all night but she was mine. Well technically not but she felt like mine. Dan made me feel like a proper dad, and not to mention him always showing off with his amazing dad skills which I had started to get the hand of doing. For example making a bottle of milk with two fingers free, yeah that's a fun challenge every day.

I finished tying my tie and walked downstairs, finding Lucy in an adorable black dress and sparkly black shoes. She smiled at me and I smiled back then she let out one of those extremely cute baby giggles.

"Dan, she's so cute I'm gonna die of a cuteness overload!" Dan just laughed, then turned to look at me. " woah! I mean Urm you look good" and he blushed, his whole face just red and I laughed, " Why thank you, why don't you go and get ready?"

"Okay, I won't be long but don't be expecting much, I always look like a rat" Dan said while getting up and passing Lucy to me.

"You never look like a rat" I replied.

"That's hilarious Phil, almost 8 months with hardly any sleep has to do some damage to the looks of a person" Dan said just standing in front of me.

"Well" I replied, "you look beautiful to me" then I kissed him on the cheek, then he turned a brighter shade of red.

"You too... okay I need to go get dressed... bye!!" Dan said walking quickly out of the room. I just laughed, he was such a dork.

*time jump*

Dan came down the stairs after a never ending game of peekaboo with Lucy, with her laughing every time like it was the first time she had seen it. Dan entered the room and stood behind me giggling at Lucy's sense of humour.

"You ready to go?" I asked still looking at Lucy.

"Yeah, I'm ready to go, are you?"  Dan replied.

"Yep, good to go" I said turning my head to look at Dan. "You look amazing Dan" I said smiling.

"Thank you, shall we go now?"

"Yeah, okay... carry me... I'm tired" I laughed,reaching my arms out to Dan.

"Okay... fineeeeee" Dan replied while coming to the front of me and picking me up in the traditional bridal position, with Lucy lying on my chest laughing her little head off.
