JOEY
Nagmamadali akong kunin lahat ng nahulog kong gamit.
Books, notebooks, handouts, pens etc.
Aiiiish! Napaka clumsy ko kahit kailan.
Nagulat na lang ako ng may tumulong saking magpulot ng mga gamit ko.
“You got 65% in your Calculus quiz? Tsk Tsk Tsk” He said in disbelief while holding my recent Calculus quiz results.
I immediately grab my paper and place it inside my Calculus book.
“Wag ka mangielam ng gamit.” I hissed as I threw everything inside my locker.
“Then, ‘wag kang makinig sa usapan ng iba.” He glared.
“Uh... Hi-hindi ko naman sinasadya eh! Maglalagay lang dapat ako ng gamit sa locker---” I suddenly feel guilty about it.
Naalala ko na naman yung expression ni Zach when Katie left.
Nakakaawa.
“Wala akong paki.” He snapped – but obviously he’s still affected.
“But, wala naman akong pagsasabihan eh! Uh... wala talaga! Swear!” I assured him.
Syempre, this is front page for the school’s paper. The almighty Zach Salcedo, ISANG DAKILANG BASTED!
Okaaay, sorry na. I’m so mean.
“Right. Ayoko din namang asahan na ipagkakalat mo eh.” He scowled.
Tss. BV, suplado. Sya na nga ‘tong basted eh.
“Tss. No wonder, hindi ka sinagot ni VP---”
“You don’t know anything, so shut up.” He said in a very low voice.
I don’t know why but when he said that...
It scares me.
“So-sorry...” I apologized. “But---”
“Ano na naman?” He asked and raised his eyebrow.
Dyahe, kailangan ko ng makaalis dito. Ang awkward masyado.
So I immediately search for my handkerchief inside my pocket and hand it to him.
“Here! Take this.”
“Erm... Ano ‘to??” He said eyeing the handky I’m holding.
“Obviously, it’s a handkerchief. Wag ka ng umiyak, di bagay---”
“I know, but this.” He pointed the red stain on the upper right corner.
Oops.
“Ay. Sorry.” Binawi ko kagad yung handkerchief and fold it in different direction. “I ate hotdog for breakfast kanina...” And hand it to him again “With ketchup.” I explained.
“Seriously? You think kukunin ko yan? With THAT STAIN?” He said like its AH1N1.
“Tss. Kunin mo na lang, tas singahan mo!” I insist, as I grabbed his right hand and place it---
