On the next day...
“Yes sir, the lists are complete.” I told the Christian Living coordinator.
“Thank you Mr. Salcedo, It will be processed and schedule.”
“Thank you Sir.”
After meeting our CL coordinator, I went to the lockers hallway – iiwan ko muna yung mga gamit ko before I roam around the booths.
Yeah I know, it sucks being the SC President, don’t get me wrong but I love what I’m doing, but alam niyo yun? Pag paulit ulit yung ginagawa mo – nakakasawa, nakakawalang gana.
I’m on my way to my locker when I saw Joey rumbling inside her locker. As usual, yung ulo niya nasa loob na naman.
Ganon ba siya kaliit para hindi makita yung loob ng locker niya? And at the first place – pano siya nagkakasya dun?
“Sabi ko naman sayo eh. Hindi ka kakasya diyan.” I said habang binubuksan yung pad lock ko.
Tumigil naman siya sa ginagawa niya at tumingin sakin.
“Oi.” -___- She greeted - with that boring-face again, then bumalik ulit siya sa paghalungkat ng locker niya.
Don’t worry, sanay na ko sa “Oi” nya. It’s like her “Good morning or How are you” version.
“Good morning din.” I greeted.
Natapos na ko maglagay ng gamit sa locker pero hindi parin siya tapos sa ginagawa niya, kaya lumapit na ko.
“Oh? Ano namang meron sa locker mo ngayon?---” I asked – pero I’m just playing around. Kasi lagi namang may kung anong laman yung locker ni Joey.
“Weird.” May kinuha siyang tupperware sa loob ng locker niya. “My haters left some shrimps.” She said. “They knew I’m allergic with shrimps” And shes not scared at all.
“Maybe they’re not your haters at all – maybe they’re your stalkers.”
“Ha. Maybe they ran out of stupid ideas – or baka wala silang mahuling daga.” She said sabay tapon sa may trash bin nung tupperware. “Got to go, kailangan ko pang magbantay sa booth---”
“Joey---” She stopped walking.
“Ano?”
“About yesterday?---”
“Just pretend you don’t know me at all, pag may ibang tao sa paligid.”
“But---” I protested.
“Trust me, it will help you gain your lovelife.” She said and walk away.

When I went downstairs – chineck ko agad yung pinakamalapit na boot: Dedication booth.
Katapat lang kasi ng stairs yung booth.
And like a plain joke, nakabantay si Katie.
“Hey Zach!” She greeted with her warm smile as she approaches me. “Naka-schedule ka din bang magbantay sa booth?” She asked – like I have no choice but to say yes.
