Chapter 4

Lucy was wearing a short, pink dress with gems on the torso. Lucy grabbed her black heels, sitting on her bed to put them on. The window randomly opened, a pink haired idiot that everyone loves jumped into the room.

Lucy shrieked "N-Natsu! Why can't you use a door?!" The pinkette simply shrugged and laid on the bed "they're boring. You ready for that party?" Lucy nodded and stood up, spinning around "how do I look?"

Natsu stared at her, trying not to drool. Lucy was absolutely gorgeous, Natsu still doesn't understand how he never noticed it before. Lucy sweatdropped and waved her hand in front of Natsu's face "Natsu? Are you in there?"

Natsu quickly nodded "u-uh you look beautiful." The blonde blushed and smiled, thanking him "shall we go?"

The pinkette nodded and got up, taking Lucy's hand and dragging her out to his car. Lucy's eyes widened when she saw his car "Woah.."

Natsu grinned and opened the door for her "m'lady." Lucy laughed and got into the car. Natsu shut the door behind her, getting into the drivers seat.

Time skip: party

Natsu and Lucy walked into the Strauss house, seeing all their friends. Lucy looked at Natsu "they really did go all out huh..?"

Natsu grinned, wrapping his arm around Lucy "they are the Strauss siblings, going all out is basically their specialty." Lucy giggled and walked over to Gray and Erza with Natsu.

Erza smiled at the blonde "hello Lucy, Natsu." The two waved and smiled at the scarlet haired girl. Gray's stomach growled and he looked around "where's Juvia.." Natsu's eyes widened and he grabbed Gray "give us a second." He dragged Gray away from the girls.

"You drink from Juvia?!"

"Yes but I wipe her memory of it! Natsu I'm not stupid."

"You're acting like it! What if the girls see your teeth marks?"

Gray growled and pushed Natsu away "look Ash for brains, I know how to hide. It's you that worry's everyone! You hangin' out with Lucy is dangerous for you and her."

Natsu sighed "I have this under control." Lisanna walked over, giggling and obviously dunk "h-hey Natsu!" The pinkette looked at Lisanna, smiling "he-"

Then it happened. Lisanna pulled Natsu close and hugged him, almost laying on him as she whispered into his ear. When Lucy looked over, she was utterly confused. What were the two whispering about?

Lucy sighed and placed one hand on her head, rubbing her temple "stop, Lu. It's none of your business..." she placed her drink down and walked over to Mira, giving her a small smile and starting a conversation with her.

As time went by, everyone slowly got more drunk as the night went on. Lucy of course mostly stayed to her strawberry milkshakes that Erza brought for her but occasionally she'd have a drink, whenever she felt stressed or worried about the thing Lisanna and Natsu were whispering about. She was a designated driver anyways, she didn't need to be drunk. Mostly since Levy would need a ride home.

"Luce..."

Lucy turned around, sighing when she saw Natsu stumbling towards her. She smiled softly and held his arms to make sure he didn't fall over "hey there bud, you feeling all right?"

She giggled to herself as he looked at the side of her head and answered.

"Yeah...I want a drink."

"I'll get you some water-"

"Not that kind of drink..."

Lucy laughed softly, bringing Natsu over to a table to sit him down "I don't think you need more alcohol bud."

"Not that kind either..."

Natsu pulled her closer, his face in the space between her shoulder and neck. Lucy tensed you, placing her hands on his arms.

"Natsu...you're kinda close."

He placed a few kisses on her neck before Gray yanked him back, growling.

"Flamebrain, she's uncomfortable."

"I wouldn't say that-"

Natsu stumbled, almost falling over. Gray quickly held him up , hitting him upside the head a few times.

"I think he's drunk..I'm gonna take him home. Have a nice time at the party Gray!" The blonde brought Natsu to his car and pushed him in, getting into the drivers seat.

Time skip:home

Lucy laid Natsu on the couch "I'll get you some water."

"I'm not drunk Luce."

"Yeah well you k-kissed my neck, I think that's pretty drunk." Lucy blushed as she recalled Natsu's lips on her neck. She quickly got him some water and a blanket, throwing the objects at him "I'll be in the shower, you can get in next. I already texted Igneel that you're staying with me."

The blonde walked into her room, shutting the door and locking it.

Natsu got up, opening the window and jumping out. His eyes turned red as he grabbed a girl, bringing her behind the house and biting into her neck. He didn't kill her, just took a small amount of her blood so he wouldn't have the urge to bite Lucy while she was sleeping. Natsu left the girl on the sidewalk, jumping back inside.

He quickly laid down so Lucy wouldn't suspect anything.

With mating season coming up, how would he stay away from her?
