Chapter 14

Natsu ran to go get Gray roses. He was the fastest vampire out of the boys so Lucy suggested he went. This also gave him the chance to get Lucy flowers also.

Lucy looked at Gray's suit "Yknow, this fits even though you're a vampire." Grays eyes widened at what she said "you know?!"

Lucy giggled and nodded "Natsu only told me about him but you're like my brother, it's pretty easy to tell when you're hiding something." Lucy fixed his tie "don't mess this up, Juvia is my best friend and if you hurt her, I'll fuck you up. Got it?"

Gray nodded, gulping. Lucy smiled and stepped back, admiring the work she did. Natsu ran in with a bouquet of flowers and a single rose for Lucy.

The blonde smiled at Natsu and kissed his cheek, putting the rose in her hair. She handed the bouquet to Gray "give these to her, I'll go check up on the girls." Lucy walked out of the room and started heading to the girls room. She just hoped and prayed to Mavis they weren't trying to kill each other like the boys.

Lucy opened the door and sweatdropped as she saw the mess "girls..?"

Erza looked at Lucy, panting "we tried to..uh.." Lucy giggled and walked over to them "you tried to help but ended up playing around." Mira giggled as she walked in "this is..wow" Lucy started to clean up, laughing to herself. Lisanna noticed the rose in her hair "where did you get that from?"

Lucy smiled softly with a light blush on her cheeks "Natsu bought me it while getting Gray a belt." Lisanna fixed Juvia's dress "a belt? I thought the suit fit him."

"Oh it does, the belt is so he doesn't strip during dinner."

Lisanna laughed as Mira squealed "I knew it! Lis you can't hide anything from me!" Lucy giggled and continued to clean up. Erza helped but she got distracted by the piece of cake Mira was eating. Lucy heard a knock on the door "hide Juvia! It might be Gray!" Lucy ran to the door as she saw Lisanna pushing Juvia into a stall.

Lucy opened it, sighing "yes Gajeel?"

"Uh, where's shrimp?"

Lucy looked at him confused before realizing who he meant "oh, Levy had a test she had to do so she couldn't help out." Lucy smirked as she thought of a way to tease him "awe, do you miss your little girlfriend?"

Gajeel growled at her "shut it before I wipe that smirk off your face bunny girl." Lucy saw the small blush on his face.

"You're blushing~"

"Shut up!"

Lucy laughed and waved him off "are you guys almost ready?" Gajeel shrugged and took out an piece of iron, biting it "Yeah, how about y'all?" Lucy looked at the girls "we're almost done. Can you send Natsu over here?"

"Sure bunny girl. See ya."

Lucy waved goodbye and closed the door as Gajeel walked away "hey Mira! Gajeel and Levy are dat-" Lucy's sentence was interrupted by Mira's squealing. Everyone covered their ears (except for Mira of course) and let the she-devil finish. Lisanna and Mira were the match makers of the school.

They did anything for their ships.

Lucy somehow heard a knock on the door and she quickly opened it. Natsu hissed and covered his ears "Luce! Step outside?!" Lucy read his lips and nodded quickly, running outside and closing the door. The two sighed relieved.

Lucy smiled at Natsu "is Gray nervous?" Natsu grinned and chuckled "yup. He's shaking."

Lucy giggled and grabbed Natsu's hands "you think he'll bite her?" The pinkette shook his head.

"He wouldn't. He knows how to control it Luce." Natsu kissed Lucy's head, pulling her close "maybe we can go on a date too?" Lucy giggled and looked at their intertwined hands "Yeah..maybe we can."

Natsu smirked and kissed Lucy softly "well then, Lucy would you like to go on a date after this?"

Lucy frowned "we still have school! After school and I'll think about it." Natsu rolled his eyes playfully but nodded.

Lucy was happy.
