Falling For A Vampire ✔️

Chapter 30.

Erza blocked an attack from Zeref and jumped away from the black haired vampire. Erza's eye twitched as she saw him laughing like there was no tomorrow. She wanted to choke him. Mira stood next to the red head and held her side, trying to stop the blood that poured out of the wound.

Zeref looked at the girls "after awhile of wanting to die, you find out some things. Like how to stop a vampire from healing, how to make a vampire's wound hurt like a humans would. Of course you wouldn't die, but it would hurt like hell." Zeref smirked as he saw the white haired girl fall to the ground.

Mira gasped for air and held onto her side with both of her hands. Erza fell to her knees next to Mira and tried to help her up, growling at Zeref. The red head's eyes slowly turned red as she stared at Mira. Erza slowly laid Mira on the ground, whispering reassuring words to the white haired beauty.

Erza stood up and ran at Zeref, swords forming around her. Zeref simply placed his hand on her head and stared into her eyes "it's been fun, but I have business to attend to." Zeref tightened his grip on Erza's head and soon, the girl was screaming in pain. Erza closed her eyes, trying to move Zeref's hand away and keeping the tears in her eyes.

Suddenly, Zeref was pushed away from Erza.

Erza opened one of her eyes to see Gray standing in front of her, his shirt gone but she could care less. Erza let out a relieved sigh as Gray helped her up and touched her head "you okay, Erza?" Gray looked at her eyes, a worried expression written all over his face. The red head nodded and fell onto Gray, causing the raven haired boy to hold her tighter. Gray rubbed her back "Don't worry, Jellal is coming as fast as he can.."

Erza smiled softly after hearing the name of her mate "Jellal.."

Laxus picked Mira up and placed his hands on her wound "Gajeel! Where the hell is the witch?!" Laxus growled at the other vampire before turning his attention back to Mira "hey, hey it's okay. The pain will leave." Laxus caressed Mira's cheek as she squeezed her eyes shut in pain "L-Laxus..my sister.." Mira whispered and gripped onto her mate's shoulder "I have t-to find her.."

Laxus held her tighter, being careful of her wound, and shook his head "No, you can't move Mira. We'll find her. I promise" Laxus laid his head on Mira's.

Gajeel dragged a girl over, throwing her forward "here's the witch! Damn." Gajeel mumbled and looked around for his girl. The girl growled and held her hand out towards Gajeel, mumbling something under her breath. Gajeel slowly fell to the ground, holding his head.

Erza looked over at the two and smiled softly "Kagura.." Erza pointed to the girl and Gray carried her over, making sure to stay on the black haired girl's good side. The girl named Kagura looked at her beloved friend and quickly changed her focus to her. The black haired girl placed her hands on Erza's head and started to whisper, staring into the red head's eyes.

Kagura smiled softly and cupped Erza's face "are you okay..?"

"I'm better than okay..thank you Kagura." Erza grinned at the younger girl. The vampire and the witch met when Erza still lived in her village. Ever since then, Erza protected Kagura while Kagura helped heal Erza. After a while, the two girls barely talked unless one of them was in trouble.

Zeref stood up and smirked "sorry to ruin the rescue but I do not have time for you all. I have to find a girl named Juvia." Zeref shrugged.

Gray tensed up and gave Erza to Kagura, his eyes turning red. Erza quickly tried to grab him but it was too late, Gray was already running at Zeref. The raven haired vampire quickly jumped onto the older boy "I won't let you touch my mate."

Zeref dug his hand into Gray's chest and grazed over his heart "oh, I don't think you have a choice." Zeref smirked and went to pull on Gray's heart.

Natsu kicked Gray off and growled "fuckin' dumbass..stay alive for Juvia, will ya?!" Natsu smirked at his best friend before turning to Zeref "you're back, sadly."

"Ah yes, little brother. And I've met your little mate too, very pretty. Speaking of her.." Zeref smirked and in a flash, he was gone. Gray clutched his chest "Natsu, g-go!"

The pinkette quickly followed his brother and went as fast as he could. He knew what his brother was planning, he just don't know if he could stop it.

When Natsu got close to his brother's scent, he quickly stopped and his breath hitched. In front of him, Zeref was on top of Lucy with his hand in her chest, dangerously close to her heart.

Lucy turned her head towards Natsu, gasping for air "N-Natsu.." Lucy tried to reach out for him but she couldn't find the strength to move. Natsu shook his head "no..no don't!" Natsu ran towards his mate and brother but it was too late.

Zeref held Lucy's heart in his hands.
