Chapter 11

Natsu looked at Lucy, holding her hand "are you okay Luce? I know it's a lot." Lucy looked at Natsu and gave him a smile "I'm okay...Wanna stay over? We can watch a movie.."

Natsu frowned "I can't, promised my lil' sister I'd go hunting with her." There was something wrong with Lucy, Natsu could tell. He was trying to see how she was feeling but he couldn't, it was like she put up a wall. That wall blocked his ability.

"Why can't I read how you're feeling?"

"I don't know Natsu, why can't you?"

The pinkette frowned. He knew what she was doing, hiding her emotions so he wouldn't worry about her. Lucy hated when people worried about her, she didn't need their pity or their protection. She's been through a lot already, she can handle herself.

"Luce, let me help you."

The blonde shook her head "Natsu I'm okay, go hunting. I know you didn't eat today. Tell Wendy I said hello." Lucy kissed his cheek, walking into her house and shutting the door.

Natsu stared at the closed door, grabbing onto his scarf "I don't know what to do with her.." the vampire slowly started walking home, wondering what he should do.

Wendy smiled as she saw her older brother. Since they got out of school at different times, they rarely got to see each other. Wendy would go off with Romeo while Natsu snuck into Lucy's house. This would be the first time in a while the two got to hunt together, and they're going to make it memorable.

Natsu smirked as he saw his baby sister "you ready to go Wendy?" The blue haired girl nodded, smirking. Her fangs glistened from the moonlight shining through the window. The siblings dad walked out, smirking "Natsu, protect your sister. Although, I would like to see if my little girl can catch a bigger prey than her brother."

Natsu scoffed, rolling his eyes. Wendy has the ability to use wind. Unlike Natsu, she has trouble controlling her ability. Igneel placed his hand on Natsu's shoulder "make sure Wendy stays safe, I won't hear the end of it from your mother if she gets hurt."

Natsu chuckled and nodded, grabbing Wendy's hand "ready?"

The girl smiled, nodding.

The two vampires jumped out the window, immediately turning into their bat form. The two looked for an animal, a big one to be exact. The siblings were competitive, it just made hunting a lot more fun.

Lucy sighed as she leaned against the front door, looking out her window to make sure Natsu left. The blonde walked over to her couch, patting her dogs head "Plue, my life is crazy..you're lucky you have no troubles since you're a dog." Plue just looked at her then laid his head back down and closed his eyes.

Lucy giggled softly and grabbed her phone. She decided she could go on a walk, it may help clear her head and she really needed that. The blonde shut off her lights and walked out of her house. Lucy walked on the edge of the sidewalk, smiling at the men telling her to be careful.

Lucy started to think about everything. It sure was a lot. Mira, Erza, And Jellal are vampires, she might be a vampire. It was like Twilight but a lot better. Something..well someone ran into her, pushing her to the ground.

Lucy groaned and rubbed her head, trying to see what hit her. There stood a blonde boy, hair almost like Natsu's but spikier. Lucy's eyes widened as she saw his schoolmark "Sabertooth.."

The boy looked at Lucy, smirking "you smell like Natsu..must be his girl. He must know I've fed from you." Sting went to the school Sabertooth, the rival of Fairy tail. The principals of both schools made an agreement not to harm each other's students. Sting never did follow the rules.

"Y-You're a vampire..?" Lucy slowly backed up, grabbing onto her phone. In the blink of an eye, Sting took her phone "you won't need this sweetheart. Natsu isn't someone I'd like to mess with but it's not like I can't have any fun." Sting smirked and grabbed Lucy's wrists.

Wendy smirked as she looked for a prey but something caught her eye. She stopped flying and looked at what caught her eye but to her surprise, it was Sting and..Lucy?!

The young bat flew towards the two, going as fast as her tiny wings could go. She flew in front of Sting, quickly turning into her human form. This caused the boy to let go of Lucy's wrists and step back.

Wendy held out her hands "I'm the sister of Natsu Dragneel, I won't hesitate to blow you off the face of the earth." Natsu appeared behind Sting, grabbing his hair "and I won't hesitate burning you to ash. Run along Sting. Don't mess with my mate again."

The blonde boy quickly flew off, not wanting to deal with the Dragneel siblings. Wendy sighed and looked at Lucy, grabbing her hands "are you okay Lu? He didn't hurt you, right?" Lucy nodded and hugged Wendy, sighing.

"Thank you so much..I can't stand up for myself and I hate it.."

Natsu looked at his mate. It hurt him to hear her say that, her voice sounded desperate. He knew what she wanted, but he'd never do that to her. He could never.

Natsu grabbed her and kissed her head "what are you doing out here anyways? You're supposed to be at home." Lucy shrugged, placing her hands on Natsu's shoulders "I decided to go on a walk. I-I need to ask you something.."

Natsu knew what she needed to ask him and he really didn't want her to.

"Natsu, I want you to turn me into a vampire."

There was the sentence he was dreading.
